A hidden gem of a museum

This is a wonderful museum that deserves to be seen by more visitors. It’s a bit off the beaten path but is a lovely hidden gem with a beautiful garden. Our guide, Vincenzo, made the history of the Etruscans come alive for us. Lovely exhibits and no crowds in May when we visited.

Etruscan art up close and personal

We loved our private tour with Vincenzo. He was prompt and courteous. A spirited guide who obviously enjoys his work, Vincenzo showed us the top highlights of this very interesting, major collection of Etruscan artifacts housed in the beautiful Villa Giulia. Next time we're in Rome we will be sure to engage his services again.

Discovering the Etruscans!!

Every time I return to Rome, Vincenzo is a real guarantee to live and know this extraordinary city! This time he exceeded all expectations: he accompanied us to the Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia and, despite the enormous quantity and richness of the finds, he managed to tell us about Etruscan civilization in a clear, passionate and above all never heavy way! You can immediately perceive his great competence and love for his work: an engaging guide, never boring, able to make you go home with the feeling of having really learned something. Highly recommended without any doubt!

A guided tour to leave you speechless! Vincenzo took us through rooms and display cases with a lively, accurate presentation, rhythmized by the careful choice of topics, pieces, themes, historical insights that best suit us, enriching the visit with details, curiosity and specificity without ever being boring or redundant.

A beautiful afternoon at the Etruscan Museum

Vincenzo is always a guarantee. It is not only for his undoubted preparation and the clarity of his explanations, but also for the ability to involve people both with moments of acting on his part, and by making them actively participate in the story he is telling. And then you realize two hours have passed in a heartbeat.

An extraordinary guide

We organized the tour for our son's birthday (15 years old). Vincenzo, the guide, really surprised everyone. He managed to make a tour of one of the most difficult museums to talk about exciting for a group of teenagers. Highly recommended! If you want to make a historical/educational tour interesting by transforming it into a playful, fun and almost theatrical experience... this is the guide you are looking for!
