Itinerario
A continuación, haremos una caminata por las encantadoras calles adoquinadas del Casco Antiguo. Con una historia que se remonta a 1673 y una espléndida arquitectura colonial declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Allí visitaremos sus plazas, la imponente Catedral Metropolitana y el Malecón, desde el cual se puede observar una espléndida vista hacia la ciudad moderna.
De allí nos dirigiremos hacia la Calzada de Amador, un antiguo rompeolas creado con material removido durante la construcción del Canal conectando 3 pequeñas islas donde podrá disfrutar una de las mejores vistas al horizonte de la ciudad y tomarse fotos en las coloridas letras de PANAMÁ.
Nuestro guía le recogerá en su lugar de alojamiento. Nos dirigiremos al Centro de Visitantes del Canal de Panamá en las Esclusas de Miraflores, donde podrá observar los barcos incrementando o descendiendo su nivel mientras transitan entre las esclusas.
De regreso a la ciudad recorreremos el famoso Puente de Las Américas, construido en 1962, siendo el primer puente atravesando sobre la línea del Canal de Panamá.
Finalmente haremos un recorrido panorámico por la ciudad moderna, donde podrá contemplar la arquitectura de los imponentes rascacielos y el distrito financiero.

Raul was 1st class. He was on time. Car was clean. He made us feel welcome. He was very knowledgeable and kind.. He was really chill per my teenager. He is well respected in the guide community. I saw this 1st hand when several other guides came to greet him. He has the gift of turning a tour into more of an experience. The guide, José, was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of the Canal and the impact on the lives of the people of Panamá. Things they do not tell you in an IMAX movie. Because this was a private tour, we were able to make adjustments based what we wanted to see and my physical limitations - post knee surgery. José still gave us a fantastic tour of the city even though I could not walk parts of it. We highly recommend this tour.
Eddie was wonderful. Prompt arrival; very knowledgeable about the area; friendly. Also offered to transport us back to the airport the next morning. He was on time despite the panama city morning traffic and gave us even more historic facts along that drive as well. Highly recommend!

I traveled from Montreal and booked the Historical Private Tour in Panama City and the Panama Canal with pickup, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The driver arrived on time, making the day stress‑free. Our guide, Eduardo, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and engaging, sharing fascinating details about Panama’s history, the old city, and the engineering marvel of the Canal. One of the highlights was the visit to the Museo de la Ciudad / Casa de la Municipalidad, where we were warmly greeted by Ilyana. She guided us through the rooms with pride, explaining the purpose of the spaces, the furniture, and the history behind them. Her passion made the experience even more memorable. I especially loved the walk in Casco Viejo, which gave me a deeper appreciation of the city’s culture. I enjoyed it so much that two days later, my mother and I returned to Plaza de Francia to visit the merchants and bought beautiful hats and bags from the Gunas. Overall, this tour was well‑organized, comfortable, and enriching. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience Panama’s history and culture in a personalized way
Very reliable with pick-up at hotel! Eddie was very knowledgeable about the canal & took us to Old Town! Knew all the history that was interesting! At the end of our tour we wanted to have dinner at a a restaurant that we could have Panamanian food so took us to Costa Azul which was so delicious! Thank you Eddie for your recommendation!!!
Eddie was a very experienced regarding the history of Panama. The traffic getting to and from Old Town was horrible. I would recommend taking this tour, much nicer than traveling with a bus load of people.
