Our guide Bruno was so informative and a genuine person! We went to Pena palace which was interesting the drive up was a windy road and once we reached there the view was sensational! Bruno booked us on to Albatross hotel Cascais for lunch perfect position overlooking the beach ..we had a light lunch with a glass of vino ! Enjoyable day
Bruno was absolutely extraordinary. If you are considering a private tour of Sintra from Lisbon, you should stop searching and book him. From the moment we met, Bruno was warm, engaging, and incredibly thoughtful. He was fantastic with our children throughout a very full day, keeping them interested and involved while also giving the adults a genuinely fascinating experience. His knowledge extends far beyond the standard facts and dates: we learned memorable stories about Portuguese history and culture, including the surprising origins of familiar phrases that trace back to conditions during the plague. What truly distinguishes Bruno, though, is his passion. Sintra is his hometown, and his love for both Sintra and Portugal came through in everything he showed us and every story he told. This never felt like a guide reciting a standard itinerary. It felt like being welcomed by a knowledgeable friend who genuinely wanted us to understand and fall in love with his home (including a few places off the beaten tourist path). Our tour ultimately ran several hours longer than originally planned, yet Bruno never rushed us or made us feel that he was watching the clock. The moment that captured him best came on our drive back to Lisbon at around 7:00 on a Sunday evening. After an already very long day, he could easily have taken the quickest route to our hotel. Instead, we realized he had deliberately taken the longer coastal route because he thought it would be a more beautiful way for us to return to the city. That small act says everything about Bruno. He cared about making every part of our day special, right through the final minutes. Our day in Sintra, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais was one of the highlights of our trip to Portugal, and Bruno was a big part of the reason why. Anyone looking for a private tour of Sintra would be crazy not to hire him.
This private tour of Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca, and Cascais was one of the best tours my husband and I have ever taken! Our guide, Bruno, was outstanding in every way. He is articulate, incredibly passionate, and exceptionally knowledgeable about Portuguese history and culture. His expertise brought each destination to life, making the tour not only informative but also engaging and fun. Bruno was professional in every sense of the word, while also creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. His recommendation for lunch at a fantastic restaurant in Cascais made an already wonderful day even more enjoyable. By the end of the tour, we felt as though Bruno was a lifelong friend rather than just a guide. This was truly an unforgettable experience, and much of that is thanks to Bruno. We cannot recommend him highly enough!
Bruno was amazing. He gave us so much history about the areas we visited. He had amazing recommendations. He went above and beyond beyond and made lunch reservations for us in Cascais! We highly recommend this tour and specifically the owner Bruno. We had the greatest time!!
Bruno was amazing! Highly recommend to those that are looking for a tour. You will get the best high service and experience.
My sister and I had an absolutely wonderful day exploring Sintra with Bruno as our private guide and driver, and we couldn't have asked for more. Bruno made us feel completely at ease from the start — calm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the area. We visited the grounds and terraces of Palácio da Pena, had free time to explore the historic center including Quinta da Regaleira and views of the National Palace, enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, and finished the day at the breathtaking Cabo da Roca. We saw and experienced so much in just one day — something that would have been impossible without Bruno's planning and local knowledge. What really stood out was how full of stories he was. Every stop came with fascinating history and context that brought the places to life. He was organized and had everything under control, which meant we could just relax and enjoy. On top of that, Bruno gave us a wealth of recommendations — restaurants, places to visit — and we used many of them. Every single one was spot on. If you're planning a day trip to Sintra, book Bruno. You won't regret it.

Our tour was excellent! Bruno was a fabulous tour guide. He was full of knowledge, very engaging and very professional and very flexible with what we wanted to see. I highly recommend anyone to take this tour with him.
Booking a private tour with Bruno was hands‑down the best decision of our entire stay in Lisbon. He didn’t just guide us — he elevated the whole experience. His knowledge is unbelievable; this guy knows everything about the history, culture, hidden corners, and stories behind every stop. You don’t just see Sintra, Cascais, and Cabo da Roca — you understand them. What really sets Bruno apart is how far he goes to make the day special. Lunch wasn’t even part of our tour, yet he took the initiative to book us a fantastic restaurant we never would’ve found on our own. And on the drive back, he casually handed us a full walking‑tour itinerary for the next day, perfectly tailored to what we enjoy. Who does that? Bruno does. He’s warm, funny, thoughtful, and genuinely one of the nicest people we met in Portugal. Honestly, he’s so kind and easygoing I briefly wondered if he might be Canadian 😜 If you’re considering a private tour, stop thinking and book Bruno. You’ll thank yourself later
We’re a larger group of friends from the U.S. (11 of us) and Bruno and Matthew were our guides for a private day tour of Sintra, Pena Palace, Quinta da Regaliera, and Cascias. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience! Passionate, knowledgeable, personable, humorous, downright charming—it was if we were traveling with two good friends who clearly love their home country and its history. Highly recommend!
