En este recorrido caminamos por la ciudad vieja de Jaffa, una de las ciudades portuarias más antiguas del mundo. Fue desde Jaffa que Peter extendió sus alas hacia el oeste para difundir el cristianismo a los no creyentes y fue desde Jaffa que los judíos, a fines del siglo XVIII, fueron al norte para fundar barrios judíos. Desde Jaffa caminamos o usamos un taxi (costo no incluido) para ir a Neve Tzedek. En 1909, después de que se construyeron muchos más barrios pequeños, los judíos adinerados que llegaron principalmente de Europa del Este, también querían algo de calidad y decidieron construir un barrio con electricidad, agua corriente y un sistema de alcantarillado. El nombre de este barrio, Ahuzat Bayit, se cambió a Tel Aviv el año siguiente. Continuamos por Rothschild Boulevard, caminando por la mayor concentración de edificios de estilo internacional en el mundo que la ONU otorgó el estatus de Patrimonio de la Unesco. Terminamos en Sarona, un asentamiento agrícola fundado en el siglo XIX por los templarios alemanes.

Ha sido conquistada y administrada por muchos pueblos diferentes: egipcios, romanos, musulmanes, cruzados, franceses (Napoleón), británicos y ahora nuevamente por los judíos. Fue de Jaffa que Peter extendió sus alas hacia el oeste para difundir el cristianismo a los no creyentes y fue de Jaffa que los judíos, a fines del siglo XVIII, fueron al norte para fundar barrios judíos.
El primer barrio judío fuera de Jaffa y un excelente ejemplo de gentrificación. De un barrio pobre del siglo XIX que estaba a punto de ser borrado, se convirtió en el hogar de más de una docena de multimillonarios. Este barrio encantador y elegante ahora está lleno de boutiques, cafés, restaurantes y elegantes tiendas de moda y joyería.

Amit is an amazing tour guide knowing the history of Israel and has a very user- friendly way of speaking. Being a survivor of the Oct 7th massacres, He gave me a private tour of sedorot, the nova festival and was a very moving, powerful story. I highly recommend him for any of his tours, I wish I could speak with him forever as he is an encyclopedia of knowledge and wisdom regarding the history of Israel.

Who knew time travel was possible? Jeremy, our scary guide in Tel Aviv, convinced us to travel back in time to ancient Canaan. At first, my wife and I were confused. but Let me tell you, we had an experience that should be illegal. Finally, we're grateful that we made it back in one piece. however, if you have a strong heart, put it on your bucket list time travel with Jeremy Lange. highly recommend

<p>Super political tour guide. Spent 25 minutes or more on the various UN resolutions and how wrong they were, while sitting in front of Independence Hall. We held the same beliefs of the tour guide but I still did not come for a lecture, we came to see the sights.</p>
Menno gave a tour for our 50 students from a study association from The Netherlands. The tour was really linked to our study area and Menno told us great stuff about the history of Jaffa, Tel Aviv and Israel. Great to have a tour in our own language with such a good guide!
