Akin is great! He put together a custom program for me based on my needs and preferences. He delivered exactly what I needed and wanted to experience. I asked him to set up interviews and meet ups with different kinds of artists and crafts people, and he did so perfectly. I wanted to meet and interview one of Istanbul's famous ice cream vendors, and he arranged that, too! This was my second time touring with him. He very quickly feels as much like a friend as like a guide. He gives such a passionate and engaging insider's view of Istanbul, sharing so much about his personal experiences, the culture, and life there in general. I'm sure I will be returning, and I will definitely ask Akin to show me around again.
