Recogida en cualquier hotel del área de la ciudad de Bangkok y salida de Bangkok hacia Ayutthaya.
Es una gran imagen de Buda sentada de bronce o Phra Mongkhon Bophit es una de las imágenes de Buda de bronce más grandes de Tailandia, con sus medidas de 9,5 metros en el regazo y una altura de 12,5 metros. La imagen de Buda está sentada en la posición de someter a Mara. Durante la segunda caída de Ayutthaya, el edificio y la imagen fueron destruidos por el fuego. La imagen actual de Vihara y Buddha se ha reconstruido y renovado durante el reinado del Rey Rama V. El área abierta ubicada al este del Vihara era antiguamente Sanam Luang, donde tenían lugar las ceremonias de cremación real.
Esta una vez que fue una excelente ciudad capital, creada a 80 km de Ayutthaya, fue aplastada por el poder birmano en 1767 y en la actualidad es un sitio del patrimonio mundial de la UNESCO. Un gran número de palacios, templos y chedis todavía están en pie. En 1782 Ayutthaya se transformó en la capital de Tailandia. Las principales atracciones fusionan las enormes estatuas de bronce de Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, además de Wat Phra Sri Sanphet y Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon.
El Wat Phra Sri Sanphet se encuentra en la isla de la ciudad, en el parque del Patrimonio Mundial de Ayutthaya, en el distrito de Pratu Chai. Ha sido registrado como un sitio histórico nacional por el Departamento de Bellas Artes desde el 5 de marzo de 1935. Este monasterio fue el templo más importante de Ayutthaya y se encuentra dentro de los terrenos del Gran Palacio. Sirvió como modelo para el Templo del Buda de Esmeralda en Bangkok.
Wat Lokaya Sutha, "el templo de la Tierra" se encuentra cerca del extremo noroeste de la histórica isla, cerca del antiguo Palacio Real y de Wat Phra Si Sanphet. El punto culminante del monasterio es su imagen de Buda reclinado de 42 metros de largo, generalmente envuelta en una tela naranja. Aparte del prang central, que se encuentra en bastante buen estado, hoy en día queda poco más que la base de los edificios principales.
Wat Mahathat (Templo de las Grandes Reliquias) está ubicado casi justo en el centro de Ayutthaya. Además de ser el centro simbólico donde se guardaron las reliquias de Buda, Wat Mahathat fue también la residencia del Patriarca Supremo o líder de los monjes budistas tailandeses. Se cree que el templo fue construido durante el siglo XIV a. C. (el período temprano de Ayutthaya).
Uno de los templos más importantes de Ayutthaya, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, tiene una larga e ilustre historia. Y a diferencia de muchos otros sitios antiguos en Ayutthaya, este es todavía un templo activo donde residen los monjes. Los tailandeses visitan Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon no solo para presentar sus respetos a Buda, sino también para rendir homenaje a uno de los reyes más respetados de la historia de Tailandia, el Rey Naresuan el Grande.

Aey was our guide and she was absolutely amazing!! She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. If you have the chance, I would absolutely reccomend signing up for this tour. Definitely our favorite day of the trip so far!!
Guide was very informative and very funny. The tour was a great experience over all. The temples were beautiful. I did not have small enough bills when entering the temples for them to give change so the guide was kind enough to cover my admission fees until I could repay him at the end of the tour.
Despite the afternoon heat, the tour was fantastic! Our guide, Aey, and driver were attentive and considerate throughout the entire experience. She even bought us drinks a few times to help us cool down. With the flexibility of our private tour, we were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each site. Our driver, Mr. Kit (forgive me if I have misspelled his name), expertly navigated the traffic both in and out of Bangkok. The ride to Ayutthaya was smooth and comfortable, without any jerky movements. We enjoyed a delicious meal at an open-air restaurant. Since we finished the tour a bit early, Aey graciously offered a shopping stop, but we chose to head back to the hotel to escape the heat. Thank you, Aey and Mr. Kit!
A nice tour with Sophie as our guide. Sophie was good at explaining things and at times perhaps went overboard. All well intentioned, but may be good give the clients some breathing room. We also had an excellent driver whose name we don’t recall, but she was resourceful negotiating traffic and safe.
I had a an amazingly pleasant day with my tour guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind and thoughtful. She chose a restaurant where I was able to try savory Thai food and the best butterfly pea drink. It was quite hot and humid during our tour, and she was cognizant of the heat and provided me water and fruit. She’s a star!

Wonderful day in Ayutthaya on our private tour with Aey. She and the driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us north of Bangkok. We spent the day touring the ancient city while earning the history. Great lunch at a local restaurant and a tour of the palace. Aey was very knowledgeable of the city and it's rich history. Highly recommended if you wish to avoid large groups and have a customized experience.

I tried to send a confirmation email the day before, but I was picked up at the wrong hotel. Therefore, I waited at the hotel entrance for an hour. Tour companies are not responding well to phone calls. The tour drivers were very friendly and responsive. He was a good driver and accepted our wishes. The restaurants I was introduced to were clean, staff friendly, affordable and tasted good. I finished my Ayutthaya sightseeing ahead of schedule, so on my way back to Bangkok, I stopped at a fake floating market and elephant stand for tourists, even though I hadn't asked. A 10-minute boat ride through dirty, smelly ponds costs 200 baht per person. It's high boring and the worst attraction of child deception. You shouldn't go.

Our driver picked us up on time at the hotel and the ride went smoothly. We visited all the planned temples and were even able to visit one or two more. Visits have adapted to our pace. Only small downside: the recommended restaurant was not good. Extremely comfortable car for 2 (mini van)
