First class tour by our excellent guide Lea. Her knowledge and personality made it a wonderful experience for our group. She went out of her way to engage with us all and took us round a fascinating chateau run by 15 generations of the same family in St Emilion. What made the tour so special was that it operated at a nice pace; was informative and entertaining and was delivered in a light and friendly style. Well done Lea and thanks. Ged, Angie, Paul, Mary, Roger (the professor) and Tina, Andy and Julie. We would all highly recommend.
Absolutely perfect! Dolce was an incredible guide. So knowledge and friendly! It was a wonderful tour. I wish we could have gone longer!
Our guide, Anne, was terrific. She began our tour with an overview of the history of Bordeaux and wine making in the region. She took us to a wonderful little château for a wine tasting, where we met one of the members of the family. Her knowledge of wine was truly astounding. During our tasting, she put it out aspects to the wine that we would ordinarily never have noticed. We then spent time in St Emilion, which was truly charming. At last glass of wine at one of the local café/wine bars was most memorable. We would highly recommend this tour.
Excellent tour guide very knowledgeable and friendly. Really enjoyed the personal winery tour as well given at Château Tour Saint Christophe. Stopped in Saint Emilion as well and toured the town. Great half day tour.
Very nice experience. Visited one vineyard, received a history of wine in Bordeaux then tried 3 wines. Following that made a short stop in Saint Emiillion (which I do wish was longer as there was not much time to explore) . The drive back was spent playing an interactive game which had all of us participating. Overall a good morning.
Great experience to St.Emillion. Detailed guide on the history of Bordeaux and wine country. The guide Rodolphe was exceptional and very amicable. I went with my wife, and my mother in law who’s physically challenged but Rodolphe was extremely caring and considerate to choose the best course for all of us to enjoy. Definitely recommend!
We had an excellent afternoon visiting St. Emilion with Rodolphe as our guide. He was knowledgeable, fun and professional. I would highly recommend booking a tour and requesting Rodolphe if you are planning to visit St. Emilion.
We had a great visit over Saint Emilion area. Everything went well, transportation, the visit to Saint Emilion town, and the Chateaux visit. Rodolphe was a great guide, he is very knowledgable about the region of Bordeaux and wines in general.
St Emilion itself is an incredible village dating to the 12th century. The surrounding wine producing region is picturesque & beautiful. The winery we visited, Cateau Bellevue was incredibly hospitable and our guide was knowledgeable with good command of the English language. I would say this has become one of the highlights to our FR trip.
A good trip, you get a short time in the village, the visit to the Chateau ( ours was Chateau Bellevue) was interesting and we got 4 excellent wines to taste. Our guide, Maud, was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English.
