Excellent tour. Our guide Paula was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable about wine and Bordeaux. We had 3 amazing tastings at very different venues and we learned a lot. The guide arranged for a picnic lunch after the second tasting, which was a nice charcuterie platter with wine. The can was small and air conditioned, which was very much appreciated in this heat wave. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in wine (beginner to expert)
Paola made our visit to Pomerol and St Emillion fun, engaging, and very educational! The winery tours and tastings were great in teaching us about the right bank and the production of wines in Bordeaux, and the lunch and visit to St Emillion made us want to return for another visit. Bravo Paola!
Paola was a fantastic guide and this tour is an amazing value for the money. Lunch at a Chateau being included is an absolute dream.
Paola was amazing throughout. She showed knowledge of the region and put on a fantastic spread for our lunch. Overall the value for money is outstanding. All of the individual Chateaus and other locations were of top quality.
This wine tour was incredible. For one, I had no idea about Pomerol wines. Additionally, the first tasting in Sant-Emilion gave us the foundation to understand what the wines were in the region. Dante is so well-connected in the industry and knows how to structure a well-designed, enjoyable experience.
A good mix of tasting, storytelling, and experiences. A must-have when visiting Bordeaux.
Dante is amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about wine and lots of fun. Properties were beautiful and wine was excellent. Highly recommend!!
Extremely knowledgeable guide.passionate about wine. Small group, enjoyable wine tasting and lunch, provided to us by our guide.
It was a lot of fun and learned a lot about the many intricacies of wine making.
We were disappointed. The driver was just trying to get through the trip. It was 110 degrees, but the driver did not try to make sure everyone was comfortable. The first winery was empty and the wine was below par. We had lunch there and waited an hour for the driver to clean up from lunch. The second winery was quite good. Given the heat, would have been nice if the driver dropped us at our hotel a few kilometers away. We asked and she said no. When no one tips and the departure for the group was we are back, let’s go and no warm greetings farewell, it speaks to how the trip was for everyone.
Hi, I would like to clarify that this is a shared group tour, not a private experience. Throughout the day, you repeatedly spoke to me (the guide) in a disrespectful manner and refused to follow the group’s rhythm, which created discomfort for the other guests. Regarding the picnic, I did not “wait an hour to clean up.” It was approximately 20 minutes, and I remained at the château because the other two guests were still enjoying their time. In a group tour, I must respect everyone’s experience — not only one person’s. As for the drop‑off, the tour description clearly states that the meeting point and return point are fixed. Hotel drop‑off is not included in group tours, and this is standard practice across all agencies. I encourage readers to also check the reviews from the other guests on the same date, as they reflect a very different experience. We always aim to provide a respectful and enjoyable environment for all participants.
