Este Tour Privado le brinda la oportunidad de salir al campo para disfrutar del aire fresco y la belleza paisajística del Parque Nacional North York Moors. Le recogeremos en su hotel (u otro lugar de su elección) a las 10.00 am y nos dirigiremos fuera de la ciudad para un recorrido circular por el Parque Nacional, con paradas en Byland Abbey, Helmsley y el hermoso pueblo de Rosedale Abbey. También habrá paradas de fotos en el camino. Podrás comprar comida y bebidas en el camino, pero siéntete libre de traer tu propia comida y nos detendremos en un lugar adecuado para que hagas un picnic lejos de cualquier multitud. Explore y fotografíe las ruinas de la abadía de Byland del siglo XII
Deténgase en la pintoresca ciudad comercial de Helmsley, donde podrá ver el castillo medieval, explorar las pintorescas tiendas o simplemente tomar una cerveza Yorkshire Brew en uno de los cafés: ¡la elección es suya!
Después de Helmsley, se dirigirá al corazón del Parque Nacional North York Moors para realizar un recorrido circular con paradas para tomar fotografías.

We had the absolute best time imaginable on our private half-day tour of the North York Moors with Best of Britain. We came to Yorkshire specifically to see the moody and windy Moors, and the tour did not disappoint. Our guide Alan’s passion about the history and the geography of the region illuminated the entire day, and part of the joy is seeing how special the park and surrounding towns are to the local community and families. I also didn’t realize just how vast and desolate the park is, so going with an experienced guide is a must for first-timers. The private experience was also great because they customize the itinerary based on your interests - we spent most of our time in the Moors and in Byland Abbey, which was spectacular, with a quicker stop in Whitby. 10/10 recommend and would book again!

We had an incredibly wonderful day with our fantastic tour guide Alan! He took us to see the North York Moors, which has always been a dream of my wife and mine, in addition to some lovely stops at historic abbey ruins and the absolutely picturesque coastal town of Whitby. Alan was encyclopedic with his knowledge of Yorkshire history, topographic geology (explaining why the Moors are the way they are), and just a lovely person to spend a day with overall. My two sisters and I did a half day tour with Alan in October. Alan was prompt, courteous, and so much fun. We felt like he was a long-lost family member. We laughed so much that day. And the sites were great. There is just something about the Yorkshire moors, that moody mist and sheep-dotted hills. . . Perfect. I highly recommend a tour with this company, and Alan's company was a bonus. We'd do it again in a heartbeat.

We started from the York railway station, where we were picked up a little ahead of schedule. We then spent the next several hours on a fantastic tour of some of the wonderful sights and history of Yorkshire! Our guide Alan, who is a native of the area with thorough knowledge of the land and its history both recent and remote, was simply excellent. He was flexible, paced the day well for our 3-generation family group, provided an almost continuous stream of interesting insight into the things and places we encountered, and was happy to answer anything we thought to ask. This is a superb way to make a day trip from London and see a sample of York, the moors, and a bit of the world that gave us James Herriot stories (a man he knew, by the way). It would also be a great way to get an overview of the area at the beginning of a longer stay.
