Excellent tour. Monica was engaging, humorous and knowledgeable. Bought water for anyone that needed it which was thoughtful and free too. Places visited and stories told were interesting and funny at times too. would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic ghost and history tour around York. Our guide, Dan, was excellent and brought all the stories to life - truly captivating (and darkly comedic at different points!). We thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and interesting experience in York.

Brilliant tour - full of history and ghost stories. Monica was excellent at story telling and really captivating. She did really well at the start too when some drunk bloke tried to interrupt the tour and was really professional at dealing with the situation. Felt really comfortable, walked at a slow pace and didn’t feel rushed. A lot of stories I have never heard of before. Would highly recommend.

I took my 6 year old son on this tour on Tuesday. He was by far the youngest person but McKenzie was very accommodating. The tour was just on the right side of spooky and although there weren’t any punches pulled on some of the descriptions, there weren’t no jump scares or things that bothered him. It’s clear that McKenzie has a passion for York and it’s pretty grim history and she was very knowledgeable about the truth of certain events that have common misconceptions or misinformation surrounding them. She also spoke passionately about paranormal activity and her first hand experience. If you’re in York and you have any interest in it’s past or ghosts, it is well worth going on this tour.

Fantastic Ghost Walk and Horrible History tour of York. Having lived in York and now living out of the county, it is nice to find fascinating facts from fantastic people. Great value and thank you for your passion and knowledge, delivered with just the right amount of theatrics.
