Budapest está situada a orillas del Danubio. El río divide la ciudad en dos mitades: Pest, que es completamente plana, y Buda, que es montañosa. Principales lugares de interés en Pest: Mercado Central, Museo Nacional, Gran Sinagoga, Instituto Geológico, Parque Municipal (Baños Termales Széchenyi), Plaza de los Héroes, Avenida Andrássy, Ópera Estatal, Basílica de San Esteban, Parlamento Lugares de interés principales en Buda: Distrito del Castillo (incluido el antiguo Palacio Real, la Iglesia de Matías, el Bastión de los Pescadores), la Colina Gellért (Estatua de la Libertad), el Hotel y Spa Termal Gellért. Zoltan was an exceptionally great tour guide. He was very helpful, knowledgable, with good sense of humour. He is highly recommended. Made our Budapest visit unforgetable.
I highly recommend this tour with the knowledgable and friendly, Zoltán! We’ve actually been to BP a few times, but thought it would be nice to take a look at the sights this way with my elderly mother who immigrated from Hungary. The tour did not disappoint! Zoltan was able to cater to us, my kids, and my mother and able to toggle between Hungarian and English seamlessly. He modified the tour to suit our needs and was impeccably polite and immensely informative — even for people who thought they knew BP!

We arrived in Budapest a few days early for an AMA Waterways cruise. My BIL and SIL highly recommended booking a tour with Zoltan due to a prior experience. It was a perfect beginning to our trip. He picked us up at our hotel in his Mercedes van and took us throughout the city…stopping at great picturesque places and sharing historical as well as current insight. He’s worked as a guide for high-end hotels in the city and it shows. He is flexible, knowledgeable, and all around just wants you to have an amazing experience. We asked that he end the tour at Castle Hill and he arranged the day to accommodate that request. He also suggested a restaurant close by for a late lunch…restaurant was not touristy and had delicious traditional fare. I also asked him for suggestions on sites to see that would not be covered in our tour and he was able to arrange tickets for a Parliament building tour…highly sought tickets that I had not been able to locate on my own. Cannot recommend spending time with Zoltan enough!!!
This was a really good tour, perfect for a first day in Budapest if you want to get the lay of the city. Our tour guide was Zoltan, and he was great - very knowledgeable, well informed and nice. Also, the van he drove us around in was super comfortable and in great condition. We would 1000% recommend his services.

Zoltan is incredible. My wife and I came in early for the Viking Danube Cruise and wanted our own tour of the city. This was the best decision of the trip. He showed up on time, picked us up and drove us to all the sites, parked and walked with us giving a full history of the location and where to take the best pictures. Having lived in and around Budapest for so long, he has a perspective you can’t get on a Viking tour. If you are considering just doing a Panoramic tour from Viking….don’t waste your time, hire Zoltan and truly experience the city. He’s been doing this for 20 years and we felt lucky to have found him.
Zoltan was a great, knowledgeable guide. He has great local knowledge. The tour was a bit longer than the scheduled 4 hrs ( which was fine for us).
