Visitaremos los principales puntos destacados de la Alhambra: los Palacios Nazaríes, el Palacio Parcial, el Palacio inacabado de Carlos V, y los jardines del Generalife. Alhambra es una ciudad que tiene muchos secretos, historias y leyendas. ¡Mi objetivo es deconstruirlos sin dejar de compartir la magia de este lugar con ustedes! He elaborado un tour donde conoceremos todas las dimensiones de la Alhambra. Entenderás su historia, su arte y arquitectura. Además, vamos a explorar su flora y fauna. Te prometo que te reirás mucho :) Puedo asegurarte que cualquier pregunta que se te ocurra sobre la Alhambra está cubierta en mi tour; si no, probablemente no hayamos llegado a esa parte todavía :) Pero las preguntas siempre son bienvenidas!
El Generalife fue residencia de verano de los sultanes. Antiguamente también era una granja. Hoy es famoso por sus hermosos jardines. Vamos a visitar ambos jardines y el propio palacio.

My wife and I did a private tour with Katia and it was one of the best tours we have been on ( we do lots of tour). It was a history lesson as well as a tour. Katia is a very knowledgeable person. She is engaging, professional and asked if we had questions throughout the tour and gave thoughtful responses. Our tour with Katia was a high point of the four cities we visited in Spain and I strongly recommend taking her tour.

Katya was great and exceeded our expectations. She did a great job of setting the context of the place and then showing us the specifics. She shared photos on her phone to make connects to other places and art work. She was approachable, patient and added some fun stories along with tons of great info. She was responsive to our interests and took time to answer our questions. We were so happy we hired her for the four of us as we had a fabulous tour!
This is a great way to see the Alhambra with a private, knowledgeable guide. I would not have the total appreciation of the monument without her explanation.Katya, has encyclopedic knowledge of the landmark and his expert at navigating through the crowds. I love the history and explanation, and my wife likes a brief right to the point evaluation. Katya was able to navigate both of our personalities.
We had a wonderful tour with Katya. She was knowledgeable about the General Life and the Alhambra took time to provide historical context as well as details about what we saw on our tour. The tour was paced well and we had plenty of time for questions and photos. Katya was very responsive for communication. She worked with us to schedule our tour so that it fit in to our time constraints in Granada. Additionally, she was very helpful in advice on getting the appropriate tickets for the Alhambra as they were in short supply for our time in Granada. I would wholeheartedly recommend scheduling a private tour with her.
Katya was so patient with me, as I was trying to figure out the ticket buying experience- I very much appreciated that!! I would say, if you have extensive knowledge of Alhambra, this specific tour may not be sufficient. Katya has great knowledge and inside connections of the spaces, however my husband (who is Arab), found it to not go as "deep" with the history that he was expecting. If you are hard of hearing, you may also want to consider a different option. All in all, Katya is a kind human and patient.

As an art historian, I curate content based on academic sources and scholarship — which sometimes differs from popular narratives that, while compelling, are not always historically accurate. That is a deliberate choice, not a limitation. For guests with deep personal or specialist knowledge of a subject, I always recommend reaching out before booking so we can discuss expectations and tailor the experience accordingly. I would have been happy to do that. Regarding the hearing difficulty — I completely understand, and I’m sorry if that affected your experience. It’s always worth mentioning beforehand so I can adjust. I stand behind the quality and depth of what I offer, and I hope the overall visit to Granada was a wonderful one.

On this trip in Andalusia I can now rate the guides taking Katya as a reference: very knowledgeable and above all interested in sharing that knowledge. The tour was done at a leisurely pace that allowed us to know without haste the relevant details. Definitely the best guided experience in a long time. (And we really enjoyed Boris' extra company!).
