My guide, Pamela, was incredible and her knowledge got me shocked. I truly recommend this free tour.
The tour with Camille was excellent! She explained so much about the history of Hanoi and Vietnam in a very interesting and engaging way. We really enjoyed the tour, as well as her warm hospitality and clear explanations. Thank you, Camille, and good luck for the future! We definitely recommend this tour!
We had a very enjoyable walking tour in the old / French quarters. The tour takes you to several landmarks and we especially appreciated the visit of Hoa Lo prison as Pamela, our tour guide, provided us with many information about the history of the place. Our egg coffee degustation in one of the oldest places of Hanoi serving this specialty (And it was excellent), as well as our stop at the train street were really nice moments too. Pamela is very knowledgeable about Hanoi, she is also a very kind and warm person. The organisation was very smooth. We did this tour at the very beginning of our stay in Hanoi and it's a fabulous introduction to the city. Sharing with a local and more particularly a student is also an experience I highly recommend to travellers.
Always good to connect with someone that actually knows a thing or two about history. Hazel was just what I needed for a trip out - casual and informative while we shared tidbits from our respective countries. She was born here and looked to remain in Hanoi. Her dedication to her own improvement and passion in learning was a good plus point. Kudos to you Hazel, don't lose sight of who you want to be!
