Tour privado a la isla de Cozumel

We booked a few months ago for a driver for round trip taxi from the airport and also to take us on a tour around the island for my birthday and anniversary. Taz was highly recommended as a trusted driver and also a very caring and fun individual. We had direct contact with them before arrival with where to go, which taxi to look for. They had my name on a sign near Diegos Taco stand right outside the airport. It was a pleasant trip to the hotel. I paid in advance and just gave a tip on arrival. The tour was with the man himself Taz! We went to several stops including a tequila and chocolate tasting, several drinks stops including the valley best Paloma drinks at Martes Place, amazing shrimp at Coco Locos where I was surprised with a birthday celebration including music and a Mariachi band!! I was absolutely brought to tears of joy by the thoughtfulness. We made a few more stops along the way and listened to Taz telling us about Cozumel and its rich history. We made lasting friends on this trip with Taz we cant wait to return to see him again. How wonderful daughter Karina helped pull everything together and they did an outstanding job. You can go wrong with booking Taz for your needs. He will see it is done.

My two cousins and I went on a 4 hour tour with Luis! He suggested a few hot spots to go to as well as stopped where/what we wanted to do/see. He was so knowledgeable and shared so many great things about Cozumel. He was easy going, funny, respectful and overall the perfect guy to do this experience with. We felt very comfortable. Luis is the guy to ask for!

We had a group of 11 people. The tour was great and our tour guide Taz was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and friendly.

Tour for 5 older adults was exactly what we hoped for. Luis, our driver/guide was very helpful, friendly, and informative from the beginning. We would request him again in the future. We visited the Bee Friendly Park and the Casa Mission Tequila Factory which was very fun and educational. We drove around the whole island, very scenic. Stopped at El Coco Loco which we highly recommend. All 5 of us were very pleased with our day in Cozumel

Taz was an amazing tour guide. He was personable and funny and taught us so much about the history of Cozumel. Having the ability to see exactly what we wanted to see and spend as much or as little time at each site was priceless.

This 4+ private tour of Cozumel in an air conditioned car was superb. Geraldo went out of his way to accommodate our priorities and wishful desires for our limited time in Cozumel. As a native of Cozumel he was very familiar with all aspects of the island and was the perfect match for making our varied requests into fond and memorable realities. Don’t hesitate to choose this tour company as your every wish could come true with Geraldo!

We booked a private tour in Cozumel through Viator with Cozumel Fun Tours for our group of six, expecting a structured, customized experience. Unfortunately, the day was extremely disappointing and poorly managed from beginning to end. We were instructed to look for a guide holding a clipboard with our name clearly displayed. After waiting nearly 30 minutes in the heat, we eventually found him ourselves — no visible sign, clipboard tucked under his arm, and no proactive effort to locate his clients. Once in the van, our confidence did not improve. The guide appeared unfamiliar with the vehicle’s basic controls. We drove for nearly 40 minutes with the windshield wipers running despite no rain, and the air controls remained locked the entire time. This lack of basic preparedness was uncomfortable and concerning. Prior to arrival, we had clearly communicated five specific activities we wanted included in our itinerary. Those were acknowledged in advance. An ATV experience was absolutely part of our request — however, it was supposed to be scheduled at the end of the day after our other priority stops were completed. Instead, by nearly 1:00 p.m., we had not eaten and had only completed one of our five requested activities. At that point, we were taken to an ATV location as if it were the main event. After spending the majority of the day waiting or being redirected, shifting to an off-road jungle ATV ride at that stage — before lunch and without completing our other agreed stops — felt completely out of sequence and poorly planned. To make matters worse, when we asked to proceed to the lunch restaurant we had specifically requested in advance, we discovered no reservation had been made and they could not accommodate a party of six. That oversight alone demonstrated a lack of organization. After losing valuable port time and seeing little effort to deliver the itinerary as agreed, we made the decision to end the tour two hours early — without lunch and without the experience we had carefully planned and paid for. A private tour should reflect preparation, communication, and respect for guests’ priorities and limited cruise schedules. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations. We would strongly encourage Viator to review this operator’s quality standards.

Gerardo was great! We went on a Sunday and most things were closed, but he found a tequila factory/tasting that was so fun and then showed us around the island and we stopped for lunch and drinks. So glad we took this tour last minute.

Driver and guide George / Pulga was excellent. Structured our tour exactly as we wanted. Took us to an excellent home town restaurant for authentic lunch of civeche and fish. Highly recommend this tour.

Great excursion with a great guide. Highly recommend this small but friendly company. Compared to some of the other tours that we were offered this was perfect! Punctual, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable- our tour was customised to suit us. And very good value! If you want to see Cozumel in a day and enjoy their history and see its beauty - contact them!
