Este recorrido es operado por Mark Bodden, un empresario local con mucha experiencia en la industria del turismo. Esta excursión se realiza en la comunidad de French Cay, lejos de las zonas turísticas más concurridas de Roatán. Esta es la única excursión disponible que ofrece hidrobicicletas y snorkel con playa privada. Esta excursión es a su gusto, lo que significa que podrá relajarse en la playa sin tener que regresar apresuradamente a su barco. Su guía turístico garantizará su regreso seguro a su respectivo puerto de escala, al menos 2 horas antes de que zarpe el barco.

INSTRUCCIONES DE REUNIÓN PARA EL "PUERTO DE ROATAN, COXEN HOLE"(RCCL, NCL,MSC,ETC.): • Cuando desembarques, camina hacia el puerto. Pase las tiendas, pase las rocas artificiales y las pinturas en la pared a su derecha. Gira a tu derecha donde encontrarás la tienda “Piraña Joe”. Continúe caminando hacia adelante y gire a su derecha antes de llegar a la "Tienda de regalos Tucan". • Camine bajo la parte superior cubierta y siga las indicaciones del puerto hacia "Oficinas del puerto", "Taxi" y "Salida". Llegarás a un pabellón cubierto con puestos a ambos lados que serán ocupados por empresas que promocionan sus tours, continúa recto por esta zona, siguiendo el camino de acera de frente. • Busque la puerta de seguridad 1, salga por allí. • Nuestros representantes llevarán un cartel que diga “ROATAN HYDROBIKES”. INSTRUCCIONES DE ENCUENTRO PUERTO DE CRUCEROS CAHOGANY BAY CARNIVAL • Camine por el centro comercial. • salir por el Pasarela Cubierta donde se encuentran los Taxis y autobuses Carnival. • Salga a la carretera y gire a la izquierda. We had a great time on this excursion. It was raining the day we went, but we were still able to do all of our activities. The bike ride was fun. We had our little five-year-old with us and she was able to sit between us on a double bike with her feet in the water and she really loved that part. The snorkeling experience was really wonderful our guide Lauren was fantastic and we saw so many beautiful fish throughout the water and the coral reef. Getting off the boat to find our excursion was a little hectic. Continue through the entire port and get out to the main street. It’s a little confusing, but once you get there and find your guide, you will be put at ease. All of the staff were very kind and everything was well organized. We had members running late for our tour, but instead of making us wait for them the company sent us ahead. We really appreciated that. The private beach was not so private, but we still had a great time. Everyone had places to sit and enjoy their lunch and drinks. If you plan on getting the specialty drinks, make sure you bring cash for those. They are sold by a different vendor and not the main restaurant on the island. Since we didn’t get the internet package on the cruise ship, we were concerned about meeting up with the excursion provider. But when we got off the ship and asked where we could locate the tour operator, we were directed to them by the other local tour operators, who were very helpful and friendly. Turned out we were the only ones signed up for the tour which was a bit concerning at first. Alex drove us from the ship dock to their facility explaining that this is the slow season for cruise ships in Roatan and that’s why we had the trip to ourselves. While they got the paddle boats ready he gave each of us one of the mangos from their trees after washing it off. It was amazing !! We chose the two person HydroBike to ride and it was perfect for us (we are in our 60s.) Josh took us riding around the bay for 30-45 minutes and after we docked we were taken next door to the snorkeling facility. We were given our gear and taken by boat out to the reef. The Turtle Man gave us a guided tour of the reef, showing us the corals and other marine life. It was a wonderful 30-45 minutes of exploring ! After snorkeling, we were dropped off on a small island that had a nice beach area with plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing. We ordered conch balls and mango daiquiris and relaxed until it was time to shuttle back to meet up with Alex, who took us back to the cruise ship. Absolutely wonderful day!
We were on a Carnival cruise and decided to add this excursion on short notice. I was a little hesitant to book outside of the cruise line but I'm glad I did. It was easily the best excursion of our vacation. The bikes, snorkeling, and beach time were all thoroughly enjoyed by us all. The tour operators were all so kind, accommodating, and personable. It was easy to find the tour meeting spot and we were back with ample time for boarding. 10/10 would recommend!
This was THE BEST excursion we have ever done. So, so fun! Anyone, any age, any size can do this! To be able to ride around with little excursion and see straight down into the clear blue water was incredible. Before I booked, I had read several reviews that said "we do this every time in Roatan." And we will do it again too! Worth it! The driver was so kind to stop at their coffee shop to get an amazing coffee. Look for their sign when you walk out of the port, and don't walk far. Tyler was an excellent host. Very pleasant and informative about the island and the experience. Each additional guide (hydrabikes and snorkeling) were also terrific. It was the highlight of our trip to Roatan! Very unique experience that was not crowded but was super fun for our teenagers and parents! Strongly recommend!
Such a fun experience! We’ve never done hydrobikes but they were super easy and fun to use. They first took us around the bay, and once we got back we joined another group to go snorkeling. It’s a drift snorkel—still some kicking required—but the current takes you along the shallow edge of the reef. Then they drop you off on one of the French keys where you can buy lunch, swim, or purchase other activities. The only reason I rated it a 4 is because you probably need to have data to communicate with the company. They were super great at arranging transportation, and making sure we got back from the key on the ferry, but I’m glad I had data so I could respond. Otherwise, it was a perfect afternoon!

The overall experience was great. We had some higher than expected winds but it was still very enjoyable. The pick up and return to port was stress free and relaxing. Our driver, Victor was great. He was with us the entire time and ensured there were no issues.
We rode the hydrobikes, which was a lot of fun, then snorkeling with a group. The reef was beautiful and full of lots of sealife. We ended at the Brady's Cay for the beach break, which was nice.
From the private driver at the port to the location of French Caye, the hydrobike and snorkel guides were fantastic. This was our favorite excursion of the trip. The snorkeling the best of all of the islands we visited. I also loved spending the afternoon on Brady's private beach. Great food and drinks!
