Angelina was a great guide. The food was tasty and we had fun chatting with her. The bechak (motor rickshaw) rides through Malioboro street and its alleys were a blast. The upside down coffee was a cool experience. You’ll work up an appetite for dinner doing a lap around the block in the pedal car which we learned is not motorized! This was our very first food tour that we paid for and we weren’t disappointed.
The tour successfully introduced the distinctive flavors of Yogyakarta in an authentic and enjoyable way. The combination of flavors, culture, and evening atmosphere made this experience truly memorable for international guests.
A very enjoyable tour. The guide was communicative and enthusiastic in explaining and answering questions about Indonesian culture. A wonderful experience enjoying the local cuisine.
An incredible experience with Angelina. A wonderful conversation with a knowledgeable guide. An expressive and smiling guide made our conversation comfortable. We truly felt like a local sampling some truly surprising dishes. Recommended for travelers looking to try something new.
Friendly, very personable local guide. Lots of food/drink to try. Learnt a lot about the area, local traditions, etc… Added touch was trying a “game” locals play whilst blindfolded & driving a pedal car.
First class. This was such a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Our guide was amazing, so friendly and happy. She always had a smile on her face and her knowledge was second to none. My wife and I, along with the other people on the tour had such an amazing time. The food was great (I did feel a little guilty towards the end when I couldn’t complete my last meal. The meal was very good, but it had been right through out the tour and unfortunately I did over indulged a little at the start). The unique coffees we tried (Kopi Joss and the upside down coffee) and the traditional drinks were all equally as enjoyable, particularly with the guide explaining the tradition and history of them. Everything about this tour was first rate, I can’t think of any part of it that wasn’t. Thank you so much for a fantastic experience and a memory that will me lifetime time.
It was great to have an insightful sharing from Angelina. She is knowledgeable & we learned so much about Jogja. Although it was raining, she made the trip a memorable one. She ensures that we are comfortable throughout the trip. Thanks Angelina.
