Descripción
Este recorrido de 8 horas comienza en la plaza del Hipódromo y continúa hasta la Mezquita Azul, uno de los principales monumentos de la ciudad. A continuación, visite el Museo de Santa Sofía, una de las iglesias bizantinas más grandiosas. Continuaremos hasta el Palacio Topkapi, la residencia imperial durante el Gran Imperio Otomano, y que en la actualidad alberga un museo con grandes colecciones de porcelana y muestras de reliquias religiosas. Seguiremos hasta la Pequeña Santa Sofía y el Gran Bazar, lugar tentador para quienes busquen recuerdos por su rica colección de preciosas alfombras hechas a mano, joyas y artículos de cuero. En este lugar finalizará la excursión. Durante el recorrido, almorzaremos en un restaurante local.

Estambul cuenta con sus santuarios monumentales de diferentes creencias y la Mezquita Azul es probablemente una de las obras maestras más famosas de la arquitectura religiosa otomana. De pie en gran prestigio con sus seis minaretes y cúpula proporcionada perfecta, debe su nombre a sus azulejos de color turquesa hechos de minerales de cuarzo. Los sultanes otomanos preferían rezar en este santuario atemporal debido a su belleza incomparable hasta cuando el imperio colapsó después de la Guerra Mundial.
El Hipódromo romano del glorioso pasado exhibe hoy el famoso Obelisco de Teodosio y la Columna Serpentina que data del siglo V a. C.
Basílica de Santa Sofía, uno de los santuarios cristianos más grandes jamás construidos en la historia. Adornada con ricos murales de mosaicos, columnas colosales y exposición de la serenidad divina, Santa Sofía es un verdadero patrimonio mundial que ha dado cabida a diversas confesiones a lo largo de los diferentes períodos de la historia y actualmente funciona como un museo que muestra el arte y la arquitectura bizantina embellecida por el gusto otomano.
• Esta visita al palacio imperial de los Sultanes Otomanos incluirá recorridos por el tesoro imperial, la sección de porcelana China, la sección de caligrafía y muchos más. También visitaremos el segmento opcional de la colección de joyas del palacio.
Gran Bazar, el vasto y legendario mercado cubierto que es el mayor zoco del mundo con casi 4000 tiendas de antigüedades, joyas y alfombras.

SOLO recogemos en hoteles ubicados en el centro de Estambul. Nos pondremos en contacto con usted si su hotel está fuera de los límites de la ciudad. En caso de que el hotel se encuentre fuera de los límites de la ciudad, deberá abonar un suplemento tanto por la recogida como por el traslado de vuelta.

- Son necesarias al menos 2 personas para realizar esta actividad.
- Como Santa Sofía ya no es un museo (se ha convertido en mezquita), los guías turísticos no tienen prioridad / oferta sin colas allí.
- La opción en español solo está disponible los lunes y jueves, mientras que la opción en inglés está disponible en cualquier momento para no causar confusión a los viajeros que deseen reservar dicho producto.

- Información Importante Respecto a las Obras de Restauración en Santa Sofía : Actualmente se está llevando a cabo un proyecto integral de restauración en la mezquita de Santa Sofía para mejorar su resistencia a terremotos. Como parte del proyecto, se está reforzando la cúpula principal y se está instalando una estructura provisional de protección de acero. Se espera que la restauración tome aproximadamente 3-5 años. Durante este período, la mezquita permanecerá abierta a los visitantes, y los huéspedes seguirán teniendo acceso a ver los mosaicos históricos.

The sites are great to see, but our guide walked too fast and many of us found it hard to keep up. In addition, his accent was difficult to understand compared to guides on other Viator tours this trip. He offered many facts but didn’t interpret what he told us. Came across as a bit dry.

We were very lucky to have good weather until the end when a thunderstorm broke. The tour with Ahmed was interesting. Possibly too much to fit in comfortably in one day but we are pleased that the tour allowed us to see the major sites . The pick up from the hotel was on time and after a lot of walking the return trip by bus was welcome!

Great experience. An amazing tour of the key historical sites in Istanbul in one day. Our guide, Ms Fatma was very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and allowed us to spend as much time as needed at each location. We had a wonderful multi-course lunch at a nearby restaurant as part of the tour. Highly recommend.

We booked this tour to try and see as many things in the old part of Istanbul. Our guide Umutcan was amazing. He met us right on time at our hotel. He was so knowledgeable and knew detailed history for each site we visited. Lunch was at Anka Palace with a a great view of the water and the food was very good. We would absolutely book this tour again
Amazing tour. Saw all the major sites without having to wait in ticket line and our guide was extremely knowledgeable and well spoken in explaining the rich history of turkey and the relevance of each historic site. We had a wonderful lunch at a hotel rooftop as well all included! Would 100% recommend this tour.
