Fun event! Meeting new friends and finding hidden bars in Osaka. I would never be able find these places without joining this event =)
A lot of fun. The bars were fun. The karaoke bar in particular was awesome! The tour guide was great, and showed us a large variety of places to drink.
Been fun! Very much enjoying my experience! Going to multiple bars and meeting multiple cool people has definitely been a highlight of this trip!
Our tour guide Alison was nice and flexible, and she was trying, but put three introverts together in some empty bars on an early, rainy, dead Saturday is not going to be a good time. The bars we went to were full of foreigners (yes us as well) speaking English including the staff, so it didn’t really feel like a tour in Japan. We went to a British pub, and what felt like two American bars. Was sort of a dead vibe where we had to try to keep up the conversation, and Alison would try to find one random person to take a picture with us as the “local”. The “unlimited free shots” was a warm bottle of cheap vodka in a plastic container that Alison offered the three of us after each bar, which only my and my girlfriend took each time. It was already put in the disclaimer, but you had to buy your own food, drinks, and entrance fee to the “nightclub” (rolling eyes), so I’m not really sure why I paid $114 for other than for someone to pick 4 random spots which we could have done ourselves, and carry warm cheap vodka around..

The tour guide was cool. She was very friendly and helpful. The tour itself was very expensive for what was provided. The drinks aren’t provided so you pretty much paid $70+ to just mingle with each other.

The night started slow but it picked up real quick! Hiromi did an incredible job leading the charge and showing us the sights while cramming in time to drink and yap!
