This was a very well run excursion. Basically, it was divided into three separate phases: 1) Get dropped off at a monkey/bird preserve; expect to mingle with lots of other excursion groups but not in an overwhelming way 2) Gear up and ride the ATV side-by-side buggies; expect 40-ish minutes on a trail. Bring a change of clothes and towel because you will likely get quite muddy. They have outdoor group showers for after the ride. We all just rinsed off fully dressed in an attempt to get rid of so much mud. 3) Get dropped off at a resort that feels quite secluded from the rest of the cruise boat chaos. Arrange for a time for the guide to come back and pick you up to take you back. Easy access to a clean and beautiful pool as well as the ocean with a beautiful sandy beach. The communication from the host leading up to the event was very good. It's clear they've done this a lot and every element was very professional. This was one of if not the top highlight of our 7 day cruise with my family (wife and five kids ranging from 18 years old down to 9 years old). At one point during the buggy ride I had to hype up my 11 year old son that it was actually a great thing he was getting so muddy. The island had had a downpour just an hour before our ride, so we really got the muddiest we've ever been. But everyone seemed to love it. The buggies could use some work. Several of the engines kept shutting off during the ride. They were easy enough to restart, but some of them clearly need an overhaul or replaced. However, it wasn't so bad that it detracted from the overall experience. If you're considering this and on the fence, my recommendation is yes do this. It's a very unique 3x combo that I don't think you'll find anywhere else.

This was by far one of the coolest excursions we went on! The animal park was so awesome. We were able to touch and hold some of the animals and the guide was full of interesting facts. The ATV trip was fun and muddy. The staff was great in keeping us safe during the ride. The beach club was pretty cool. There was a huge pool and beach access.

Loved the sanctuary, the resort but the atv’s needs an update and a better route. Guide was excellent, stayed with us all the time. Thanks Pedro!

Everything went perfectly! I booked this the day before and am SO glad I did! The 4 in my family all said it was the highlight of our cruise so far. Our tour guide/ escort was Glenn, and he did a great job telling us the history of the island. He showed us many interesting sights throughout the day, took pictures, and was super friendly and kind. We booked the tour for the ATVs, but the animals and beach really rounded out the trip. When I stated concern about getting back before departure time, they made sure to time everything to get us back 2 hours before departure. Highly recommend!

The tour guides were very friendly and accommodating. They were punctual and organized. The ATV experience was great as was the animal sanctuary.

Visited on Carnival as multi generational family group 1of 5 with children ages 5 and 6years old. Had blast at Buggy jungle adventure. Sloths and monkeys made my son and parents million dollar smiles. Pool side lunch was relaxing and fun. Park owner/operator manager treated us like her own family. Nani the Native you & Fordie manager deserve our respect from bottom of our hearts. We made you part of family. You guys won our hearts!!🙏Highly recommended for large friends/family groups with kids who seek private tour services from owner/operators on Caribbean islands.

Disappointed as we were stuck waiting and no one arrived to pick us up from the destination without any messages or warnings that they had forgotten about us. I WANT MY MONEY BACK

I booked this excursion during our stop in Roatán on Carnival Mardi Gras because it checked every box for our family. It was my daughter’s 23rd birthday, and ATV adventures are her favorite type of excursion. I also needed a two-seater ATV so my elderly mother wouldn’t have to drive herself, and this was one of the only excursions I found that offered that option. The fact that it also included a beach stop and a chance to see sloths and monkeys made it an easy choice. What I didn’t realize when I booked was that this would end up being one of the best excursions we’ve ever taken. This tour deserves to be the #1 excursion in Roatán. One of the things that made it so special was the small-group experience. We were actually the only guests from our ship, which meant we had a completely personalized tour. Our guide, Rashad, was absolutely incredible. He struck the perfect balance between fun, relaxed, and knowledgeable. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel comfortable and welcomed. He shared information about the island, answered every question we had, and made sure we were having a great time without ever making us feel rushed. The first stop to see the animals was intimate and personal. We’ve visited sanctuaries before where tourists were packed in by the hundreds, but this experience was completely different. Our small group was guided through the area at a relaxed pace, giving us plenty of opportunities to interact with the animals and take amazing photos. The animals were free to roam throughout the jungle, which made the experience feel much more natural and authentic. Our guide was very knowledgeable, sharing interesting facts about the animals and their habitat, and it was clear how much care went into their well-being. We absolutely loved this part of the tour. The ATV portion of the excursion ended up being one of our favorite parts of the day. One thing that immediately stood out was that the company is female-owned and operated, and the team took such wonderful care of us from start to finish. They even surprised my daughter with a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch. Before we headed out, they took plenty of time to make sure everyone was comfortable with the equipment and understood how everything worked. There was never any sense of being rushed. Instead, it felt more like spending time with friends who genuinely wanted us to have a great experience. We visited during the dry season, so there wasn’t much mud on the trails—mostly dust—but the ride was still an absolute blast. The ATVs themselves were a little older, which actually added to the adventure because we were able to do real off-roading through rugged terrain and winding trails instead of just following an easy path. If this much fun can be had during the dry season, I can only imagine how amazing it would be after some rain. I’d love to come back during the rainy season and do it all over again. The final stop was the perfect way to end the day. We spent time at a beautiful beach club with a huge stretch of beach and a pool overlooking the water. After all the excitement of the animal encounters and ATV ride, it was wonderful to relax, grab a drink, and soak in the island atmosphere. It felt like the ideal balance of adventure and relaxation. If you’re visiting Roatán and trying to choose just one excursion, book this one. It offers a little bit of everything—wildlife, adventure, beautiful scenery, and beach time—all while providing a personalized experience that never feels crowded or rushed. This was the highlight of our day in Honduras and one of our favorite excursions we’ve ever taken. One tip: bring bug spray. You’ll be glad you did!

Absolutely recommend this excursion. My husband and I had a wonderful time! Errinton was an awesome guide and was so kind and accommodating to us. He also told us some interesting things about the culture and the island of Roatan and got us back to our cruise with plenty of time to spare. The eco park and ATV adventure was a great time and it was amazing to get to see the monkeys, birds and sloths up close. Not only during the excursion, but the people of Roatan in general couldn’t have been nicer and more eager to help us. It is a lovely island with beautiful people.
