Itinerario
Se trata de una inmersión profunda en Madrid y su escena culinaria. Una auténtica velada en bares madrileños. Experimentarás la verdadera cultura de las tapas de la ciudad, moviéndote de bar en bar, degustando diferentes comidas, codeándote con los lugareños y descubriendo cómo los madrileños disfrutan de una velada. En lugar de seguir un guión rígido, compartimos anécdotas, ideas culturales y consejos prácticos que te ayudan a entender Madrid más allá de las guías. Mucho más que tus patatas bravas estándar y sándwich de calamares, ofrecemos un servicio premium donde adaptamos lo que pedimos según grupo en la noche. Te animaremos a ampliar un poco tus límites culinarios y llegar realmente al corazón de la ciudad a través de su comida y bebida. Visitamos 3 o 4 bares locales tradicionales, cada uno con su propio ambiente y platos especiales. Degustarás cualquier cosa entre 12 y 20 tapas diferentes, dependiendo del tamaño y apetito del grupo. Cada bar incluye una bebida.
Nos reuniremos entre las dos entradas de metro de la Ópera de Metro en la Plaza Isabel II, les presentaremos a sus compañeros de viaje y les explicaremos el plan para la noche. Habiendo hecho presentaciones y visto la Royal Opera House comenzaremos una noche llena de diversión, comida, bebida e historias! TENGA EN CUENTA QUE EL SIGUIENTE ITINERARIO ES SOLO UN EJEMPLO. Adaptamos cada tour según los gustos/desagrados/intereses del grupo para que cada noche sea ligeramente diferente.
Primer Bar : Es solo un corto paseo hasta el primer bar donde conseguiremos calentarte para la noche con algo de buena comida y bebida y explicarte los orígenes de la cultura del tapeo y algunos de sus aspectos más importantes. ¡Al final de la noche estarás bien preparado para salir y negociar la animada escena gastronómica de Madrid por tu cuenta!
Señalaremos esta emblemática iglesia y les contaremos sobre el dulce dulce escondido detrás de ella.
Caminaremos por la Plaza Mayor de Madrid y te contaremos un poco sobre su historia y tradiciones y te haremos algunas sugerencias sobre qué ver/comer/beber durante el resto de tu estancia.
Te contaremos todo sobre esta emblemática plaza, sus edificios, historia y tradiciones.
Segundo compás : Ya habrás acumulado apetito así que iremos a nuestro siguiente bar Puede ser un curso intensivo de jamón Español o un bar tradicional de la región de León que elabora su propio vino. Te explicaremos cómo se hace el tapassing en España con información útil sobre cómo pedir, propinas etc
Tercer Bar : Ahora nos estamos metiendo en el vaivén del tapassing, al estilo Madrid, así que a tan solo un corto paseo hasta el siguiente bar donde conseguiremos que degustes más de sus platos de especialidad. ¡Intentaremos ampliar un poco tus límites culinarios y hacer que pruebes cosas que de otra manera no probarías!
Pasaremos por delante del Parlamento Español y te contaremos algunas historias sobre su importancia histórica y actual
Cuarto Bar : Puede que ya estés empezando a sentirte un poco lleno pero evita el pan y deja algo de espacio para el último bar donde intentaremos reservar una mesa y sentarnos para terminar de una manera más relajada, a menudo con algún marisco estupendo. Nuestro tour terminará en este último bar y usted debe estar muy lleno!! Dependiendo de la noche y el grupo, probablemente habrás probado entre 12 y 20 platos diferentes y habrás tenido una sensación real de la escena culinaria madrileña.

What a wonderful night in Madrid -- its the perfect combination of excellent walking tour combined with expert food / drink selections that kept us all entertained. Highly recommend -- James gives you a great understanding of Madrid Nightlife culture.

Be prepared for excellent, and some unusual, tapas with a jovial, well-informed host, James, as you traverse old Madrid on a night you’ll savour.

A Perfect Introduction to Spanish Food Culture If you are considering this tour, book it early in your trip — it completely changed how we approached eating and drinking in Spain afterward. Jamie gives you much more than a food tour focused on tourist spots. He introduces you to authentic local bars and explains the traditions behind the food and drinks, including where they come from and how they are typically enjoyed. We came away feeling like we better understood Spanish food culture, not just what to order. He also shared practical tips on how to recognize a good local bar or restaurant and how to confidently order like a local. Between stops he pointed out landmarks and shared bits of history that added so much context to the neighborhoods we were walking through. We were a group of 10 people with very different tastes and personalities, and everyone found things they genuinely loved. Jamie was warm, funny, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the entire experience. This was one of the best things we did on our trip and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Spain.

My family and I had an amazing time on our tapas tour with James. He had us try so many different, excellent dishes that we would have never ventured to try on our own. Fantastic tour and the guide was very adaptable to group preferences. Got some history along the way. When the tour was over the guide noticed our group was still having fun; so he took us to a great cocktail bar so we could continue our night without him. We had a great time!
