Descripción
El Grand Circuit Tour es uno de los recorridos más populares para aquellos que desean pasar un segundo o tercer día explorando templos. En este recorrido, no podrá ver Angkor Wat, pero explorará algunos de los templos ubicados al norte de Angkor Thom, lo que lo convierte en un complemento perfecto para los huéspedes que ya han visitado Angkor Wat.

Itinerario
Lo recogeremos en el lobby de su hotel a las 8 de la mañana, después de haber desayunado. Lo llevaremos a la taquilla para que recoja su boleto antes de dirigirnos al norte de la antigua ciudad de Angkor Thom. Saldremos de la puerta norte de la antigua ciudad capital y nos detendremos en Preah Khan, el primer templo de la gira.
El recorrido continuará con visitas al templo de Banteay Prei. Cada vez que hemos estado allí, no hay turistas.
Continuaremos visitando Neak Pean
Después de eso, iremos al templo de Ta Som.
El siguiente templo es East Mebon.
Luego, visitaremos el templo de Banteay Samre.
También visitaremos el templo Pre Rup.
Última parada para relajarse. Es hermosa vista desde la terraza de piedra arenisca decorada con la estatua de Naga y Shimha.

Al comienzo del recorrido, iremos a buscarlo al lobby de su hotel. Pero debe informarnos el nombre, la dirección y sus contactos de su hotel antes de la fecha del tour.

We could not have asked for a better experience and a better guide for our tour. Samnang our tour guide for the day was truly the BEST! Not only was he super kind and friendly but he was also very accommodating to our needs and pace. It is safe to say that the entirety of the tour was very engaging because of Samnang’s wealth of knowledge and easy to understand stories and explanations. He gave us the full insight of the ancient Cambodian and Angkor history and Cambodian culture and Khmer people. Our driver Scheott was also kind and friendly. The overall experience was a 10/10 and I would highly recommend tourists doing the Angkor grand circuit tour in addition to the Angkor small circuit with Samnang and Scheott by Tuk Tuk. Tuk Tuk is the best way to experience Angkor Wat because the breeze of the wind and the sites being much easier to take in.

Bunpheng was by far the best guide we had in our week in Cambodia, on time, every temple we visited he knew the routes to the best photo stops and interesting bits that were unique to that particular site. A credit to the company. FYI this was written the following day not whilst being stood over whilst you type what they want you to put as in many cases out here.

Our guide Mr Pal Chen was exceptional; incredibly knowledgeable, hugely experienced and with excellent English. We did the Grand Circle Tour on our first day, with some temples entirely to ourselves. We saved the more popular Small Circle Tour for our second day and despite this being very busy, Chen knew where to go and when to go to avoid the crowds. He was also pretty handy with an iPhone, helping us to take great photos from all the best vantage spots!

Thankyou to Mr Bunpheng Chan for our 1.5 day tour. We flew into Siam Reap at 10am and we were on the road by 12 noon! Everything ran on time and as discussed in our email exchange. We only had 1.5 days to see everything and Mr Chan made sure we did! Unfortunately due to some rain we missed going to the top temple on Angkor Wat, but we felt so comfortable at the end of the trip, we even went back ourselves and managed to fit it in on our last solo day. The whole area is just spectacular and it is so much more than just Angkor Wat so make sure you venture a little further (Mr Chan knows where!)

Bunpheng is very personable and passionate about all things Angkor and Siem Reap. A fountain of interesting information, he’s a great teller of stories. I had a lovely day, learnt so much, nice restaurant for lunch, always cold water available. Even enjoyed a temple tour in and out the other side of a downpour, everything is so clear and fresh after rain, but only if you want to. 😉 Bunpheng and our driver made everything effortless and comfortable. Will do some more tours next visit. Cambodia is so special.

We booked this tour with the name "Full Day Angkor Wat tour" with Angkor Doors through Booking.com. Our guide was Bunpheng Chan who was knowledgeable about each temple, its origins, builders, political atmosphere and so many other facts that showed how much he loved this history and how much he has studied it. He went at our speed (we are a retired couple) and he never rushed us. We walked about 18,000 steps, 6-7 miles, some was strenuous but the only way to see the temples that are a kilometer from side-to-side. The car was comfortable, had good AC, a good driver and cold water was always available. Having this private tour made a huge difference in what we learned and in some instances, what we saw as we drove down roads to temples where no one else was visiting. His 25 years of experience really showed and his appreciation of tourists and having us back after COVID was evident.

The tour was organised at a short notice. The tour guide Pal Chen was excellent guide who apart from knowing the history and details of the temples we visited was friendly and had a great sense of humour. His skills in photography were great. Truly recommended.
