God is so good! Peru owes me nothing, remember the proper cord adapter for charging, exchange your money, know some spanish or google translate heavy, walk and see, spend with locals, enjoy the food. Definitely a place to visit more than once.
Aaron was a fabulous guide. We found his English very easy to understand. His knowledge superb. We adapted the tour on the go to include things we wanted to see and do. All in all - a great day out.
Thank you very much Belinda for your comments and rating! I'm glad you enjoyed the tour to Guanajuato. Aarón.
We are a family of 4 adults (including 2 older adults), and did the Guanajuato City Tour with Aaron. We highly recommend it. Aaron picked us up in a minivan, drove us from San Miguel de Allende to Guanajuato and back, and spent the day with us walking around the city, showing us the sights and explaining everything. We ended up skipping the hacienda/silver mine option because we were already tired and it was getting late. Also, we were originally interested in the "mummy museum", but after discussion with Aaron we ended up choosing the Diego Rivera museum instead, and were glad that we did. Aaron's English is outstanding, and he is very articulate and knowledgable. He is also very pleasant and patient. This tour is definitely worthwhile, and I would highly recommend Aaron as a guide. I encourage you to call him directly to discuss your planned trip and any questions or modifications that you would want (Phone: +52 442 407 8068).
Thank you Sharon for your nice comments and rating! It was a lovely day with you all. Aarón.
Very nice trip. Learned a lot about the history of the city. Aron was an excellent guide. The car ride was very comfortable.
Aaron was the best guide we have encountered in MX. his English is great. Guanajuato was an interesting town, great shopping, local artisans, delicious lunch, met brilliant female Architect, Sustainability project manager. Guanajuato masters of rock wall, tunnels and roads. Impressive University.
This was such a great day trip. Aaron was a great tour guide. He picked us up from San Miguel De Allende at 8am in a roomy big/clean van. We grabbed coffee and we were off to GTO. It took it 1.5 hour to get there. The trip was nice. There is a lot of scenery as you pass through the small towns and the landscape is beautiful. Aaron had a driver which was very efficient for drop offs and pickups. We were a family of 4 with two kids (7 and 9 years). We started at the mummy museum and the kids thought that was pretty cool. It’s strange how they just have them out there for display but still pretty cool. After we hit the town. Such a beautiful and picturesque town. We couldn't stop taking picture of all the buildings and mountains. The town is super colorful. We did the following: Diego rivera museum, underground streets, Callejon del beso, Juarez theatre, the GTO university, many churches, and had lunch at a good spot where the mole was BOMB! The town is like a big maze. You would definitely get lost if you tried to do it on your own. The streets are confusing, small, and there are a lot of dead ends. Driving as well! Those underground streets are confusing and I heard GPS does not work down there. We also visited the mercado and the Alhondiga de Grandaditas building where they hung the heads of Allende, Hildago, Jimenez, and the other guy (forgot his name). The building is pretty cool since you can still see the bullet strikes on the building. So much history everywhere you go. Lastly, we went up the lift to see El Pipila. It was at the top of the mountain and he can be seen throughout the city. We had a perfect day until we got up the mountain and it started raining on us. We got our pictures and got out of there. I would have like staying up there a few more mins to enjoy the views. The views are amazing. Aaron is amazing and knows the city very well. The tour was very informative and my kids loved it. It was their first taste of Mexican history and they loved it. They asked Aaron a lot of questions and he answered them all. We were never pressed for time and Aaron let us take our time with pictures and shopping. We got back to SMA around 4 ish. It was great day and I highly recommend this tour with Aaron. You won't be disappointed.
our guide Aaron was really fantastic. Flexible and so so well informed about all we saw in Guanajuato. we would highly recommend him and the visit to Guanajato.
Aaron is the perfect guide to take you on an informative tour of this beautiful, historic city. His English is impeccable and after 12 years of giving tours here, he knows so much about how the city was built and the different eras of people living there. He knew a great place to eat right across from Diego Rivera’s house and museum. The tour was just the right amount of time, and we would highly recommend taking this tour from Aaron!
We were visiting San Miguel de Allende and did not want to miss a visit to the Capitol and World Heritage City. Aaron our guide was so informative and we really covered the City, the beautifully restored Opera House, the City Market and other sites. We had an amazing view above the City via the funicular. We had a fabulous lunch and ended the day with a trip to a restored Hacienda with period furniture and decor. Aaron's English was exceptional as was his information and courtesy.
Aaron was an outstanding guide. The pace of the tour was perfect. We covered a ton of ground and got a wonderful overview of the city and its history.
Thank you very much for the rating and the review. I had such a great time with you two! Hope to see you again.
