Tour de día completo en Tolantongo desde San Miguel Allende
Descripción
El día comienza con un agradable desayuno buffet para prepararse para obtener la energía necesaria para las actividades del día. Después habrá actividades acuáticas todo el día. Comenzamos el recorrido con las cálidas piscinas que han sido grabadas en la ladera de la montaña, para luego descender hasta el río termal de color turquesa para un relajante almuerzo a lo largo de sus orillas. Después del almuerzo, saltaremos a las cálidas aguas del río antes de hacer la transición a las gloriosas cascadas y cuevas. Antes de ingresar a las cuevas, admiraremos la vista de las cascadas que custodian las cuevas naturales que estaremos explorando. En las cuevas usaremos nuestras lámparas para caminar por las cálidas aguas que brotan del interior, explorar las cascadas interiores y observar el origen de las aguas que dan nombre a Tolantongo. Tolantongo, que significa "lugar de agua cálida y en movimiento", le brindará una experiencia en México como ninguna otra. (La exploración de ríos y cuevas depende del buen clima en los días previos para permitir una experiencia óptima).

Itinerario
A la salida, nos dirigiremos a Tequisquiapan (90 minutos). Opciones vegetarianas con opciones veganas limitadas. El desayuno corre por nuestra cuenta. Después del desayuno (40 minutos), nos trasladaremos a Tolantongo (120 minutos).
Tranquilidad en la Piscina (2hrs): Comienza tu experiencia relajándote un rato en los pocitos; Piscinas termales naturalmente cálidas que brindan vistas asombrosas que calman y despejan el cuerpo y la mente, perfectas para "el gramo". Existe la opción de tirolesa para hacer la transición al río, no incluida (250 pesos mexicanos). Almuerzo (30 minutos): picnic junto al río (si el clima lo permite). Ordene el almuerzo con anticipación en el restaurante local y prepárelo junto al río. El almuerzo NO está incluido en el precio. Relajación en el río (2 horas): A continuación, el río de color turquesa está bien administrado y es naturalmente cálido debido a las aguas termales, una experiencia relajante completa. Exploración de cuevas (60 minutos): verá cascadas impresionantes y aventuras inesperadas que nuestros huéspedes han descrito como "un cambio de vida". Nuestros guías lo llevarán a explorar las cavernas y túneles ubicados aquí. Disfrute de las cataratas que cubren las cuevas y nade en la cálida piscina dentro de la montaña. Saldremos a las 5:30 p.m.
Paseo camino a Huichapan (90 minutos). Parada de estiramiento: Baño y descanso para estiramiento. Continuación conductor hasta San Miguel de Allende (120 mins)

We had a wonderful time. We were so surprised by the grandeur of the river valley and the experience of exploring and swimming in the caves. The mountain side pools were relaxing and gorgeous. A must do experience!
If at all possible, request Diego when you book this excursion. He was right on time, very friendly and quite willing to share his knowledge of the surrounding area and culture. He explained everything we would experience and was there to lend a hand where necessary. Make sure you stand under the falls in the cave for a natural massage.
Grutas Tolantongo itself is a breathtaking destination with stunning turquoise waters, relaxing thermal pools, caves, and beautiful mountain views. Diego helped us make the most of our time there and provided a great tour with wonderful conversation. He made the long drive enjoyable, shared interesting information along the way, and ensured everyone felt comfortable and safe. Every moment was absolutely magical. Highly recommend - you will enjoy every moment!

Thank you for allowing me to join the existing tour at the last minute, and to the family that agreed to have me on their tour. It was excellent to see Tolantongo before the Easter crush. An easy and enjoyable full day excursion from San Miguel de Allende with door-to-door transport. Diego was the guide, and he demonstrated excellent driving skills, smiling connection with all the local providers, knowledgeable information, and smooth provision of all the things - snacks/drinks/chairs/backpacks/timing … all the things seen and unseen that make a tour enjoyable and relaxed because someone is working hard behind the scenes. This is a very professional tour experience, but one that feels personal and bespoke. I enjoyed all elements of the destination, and although heavily touristed (for obvious reasons because it is so good!!) the natural beauty and existence of really hot thermal springs was so good to visit. The full moon following us home topped off the perfect day.
This was an awesome trip! 3 kids (8,6 and 4) and one senior citizen were also in our group and they all had a blast. The variety of things to do there was an awesome surprise and our tour guides literally thought of everything- from blankets for the van ride, to a beautiful riverside picnic at the end of the day, and headlamps etc.
This was a wonderful experience! Our tour guide was very friendly and we never felt rushed. I will be returning!
4 of us took the tour from San Miguel to Tolantongo at the end of January 2926z Christian was our driver and tour guide. From the minute he picked us up, we had a wonderful time. He was kind, informative, patient and his English was very good. It was worth the money and the time. The pools, caves and river were so beautiful. They looked like they’d been photoshopped. Thank you Christian for making our day and happy memories.
