Our guide was amazing! I would love to take this tour again just to learn more about the city and shops. She was informative, funny and lead us through the city quickly and easily
Our pastry and chocolate tour of Marseille with Elizabeth was a fantastic experience. We learned a great deal about the region’s pastries as well as the history and character of the city. Getting there from the cruise terminal was easy—a quick taxi ride to the meeting point—and the tour length was perfectly timed, leaving us enough opportunity to enjoy lunch in town before heading back to board the ship. Overall, a wonderful excursion and highly recommended.
Elizabeth was great. Knowledgeable and prepared with pictures. The pastries and confections were good but because the title says chocolate tour, we expected more chocolate. It was just at the end as an option. It was a lot of chocolate at the end, but I would have preferred more varieties. We had a piece of pain au chocolate, half an eclair ganache that was great, and three round chocolate with nuts and candied fruit on it. Instead of 3 of the same, 3 different types of chocolate with the pastries would be better.
Elizabeth was a wonderful and informative tour guide and took it to some of the best shops for the taste tour. It was a remarkable experience.
This was an amazing experience! Elizabeth our tour guide was amazing. We tried so many new foods and they were all delicious! Highly recommend.
Merci Kelly ! Your family was great and fun. I also spent a very good moment with you and was happy to share you my passion about food. Take care
I loved the afternoon with our guide touring Marseille city center during my family's Spring Break trip. She put together a thoughtful variety of shops from chocolate, to gelato, to pastry. Great for young and old, experienced bakers or novices, you can learn from Elisabeth and the shopkeepers, who were all very nice to my family.
Thanks so much. Happy to share all my knowledge about Marseille and French pastries with you. Spring break is always a nice moment to travel and have new experiences ! Take care
My family and I participated in the tower on June 2025, and it was the best experience. The food, the history, all the activities around was amazing. The most important part was guiding us, Elizabeth. Elisabeth made the experience memorable, fun, and just the best. Also, Elisabeth connected after the tour and made a big impact in me and my family. It is the experience of life!
Merci de votre gratitude et heureuse d'avoir pu vous donner le gout de la France et de la culture française !
I would like to thank Ms. Sebastia for the magical moment she made us spend! His warm attitude made this already great and interesting moment shine.
Merci également vous pour votre générosité et votre bonne humeur pendant toute la visite. Bon retour !
Despite the season, the atmosphere was warm and our guide, Elisabeth, made the walk as informative as it was gourmet. We discovered authentic local addresses, tasting typical Marseille specialties, including the famous shuttles and some of the 13 desserts of Provence. The explanations of the city’s history and Provencal traditions added real value, and the pace was ideal. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover Marseille differently, especially during the winter period.
Effectivement peu importe que ce soit l'hiver, c'est toujours un grand plaisir de découvrir les gourmandises provençales et les bonnes adresses de Marseille ! A bientot j'espère pour de nouvelles aventures dans la cité Phocéenne.
Elizabeth was an absolutely delightful guide. She is knowledgeable, funny, and down for a good time. We tried 11 or 12 different sweet treats and had an excellent time walking between stops. Highly recommend this tour.
Merci so much for this very nice comment. So nice to have guided you ! Take care
