Do it at sunset, a lighted view, night city views and light shows.
There was no tour. Our guide didn’t even introduce himself. We waited in the same security line as everyone else. He told us about the elevator and steps and that was it. We reached the 2nd floor and told us we should get in line for the summit. He can give a 20 minute tour but he suggested we get in line instead. That was the tour. We were very disappointed, total waste of money.
Completely overpriced, I paid 200 euros and 76 euros right at the Eiffel Tower. We wandered around for almost 2 hours and could not find the provider. The map sent along is completely inaccurate. In the end, I bought new tickets directly at the Eiffel Tower for a third of what I paid at Viator. Absolutely not recommended.
Reliable when you don't have advance bookings. Rather than get scammed by unreliable websites. The guides are professional
Raphael was a wonderful tour guide! Soft-spoken and so friendly! Helped me conquer my fear of heights with tips to reach the summit! Easy meeting location. Only negative were the wait times in the lines for the elevator on a very hot night.
Guide was imformative about history and tower. Easy to understand. Thorough instructions about entry.
This was a fraud, there was no one at the meeting point, no one knew anything about it. It was a few of us waiting with no instructions, you guys are terrible, not willing to help your tourists.
It was a nice tour. Nice tour guide who picked us up on time at the meeting point and was able to tell us interesting things about the Eiffel Tower.
A lot of information, but because of it was very crowded it was difficult to follow our guide group.
Make sure you know exactly where you are going because you will not be connected to the tour operator at the Eiffel Tower. The cab dropped us off at the front (supposedly he had to drop us there), I told him that we were to meet the tour guide on the side and not at the Eiffel Tower, showing him the address in our phone. We used our GPS to try to find our way to the exact location, but it was not accurate. We were there 30 minutes ahead of time and when I called to try to get accurate information, I was told that she could only relay information to the tour guide that we would be late, but she could not have the tour guide contact me via messaging or a call. I was quite upset as I have used Viator many times and have received messages from the tour guide guides checking to see if I had any questions. It turned out that we were only a couple of minutes away from the meeting site. If the agent on the phone would have simply asked the tour guide to contact me I’m sure he or she could have provided directions that we could follow as we were at the back of the Eiffel Tower. I had previously missed a tour in Zürich due to a flight delay, but the tour guide messaged me and offered a boat ride for compensation. Why the agent on the phone could not have asked the tour guide to contact me is ridiculous. She said that it was against company policy, obviously the policy must’ve been different in France than in the US or Zürich.
