Explora Río Celeste en una caminata guiada por los senderos oficiales del Parque Nacional Volcán Tenorio, rodeado de selva tropical y paisajes volcánicos. Durante el recorrido visitarás la Catarata Río Celeste, una impresionante caída de 30 metros con su inconfundible color turquesa, la mística Laguna Azul, los forúnculos volcánicos donde la tierra libera gases naturales y finalmente el Teñidero, el punto exacto donde ocurre el fenómeno que tiñe el río de azul. Una caminata de dificultad moderada, bien organizada y explicada paso a paso por un guía local, ideal para viajeros que buscan naturaleza auténtica, fotografías únicas y comprender uno de los fenómenos naturales más famosos de Costa Rica. Una experiencia imprescindible que combina ciencia, selva y paisajes inolvidables.
Después de explorar el parque, disfrutamos un almuerzo típico costarricense en un restaurante familiar, preparado al momento con ingredientes frescos de la zona.
Luego, realizamos una caminata corta hasta una propiedad privada, fuera de los límites del parque, donde podrás nadar en las aguas cristalinas de Río Celeste. Este tramo del río permite sumergirse en su color turquesa intenso, algo que no está permitido dentro del parque nacional. El agua es limpia, fresca y segura para nadar, ideal para relajarse y conectar con la naturaleza. I want to start by commenting that I didn't know how to visit Tenorio Park. It was more complicated to try to do everything on my own and it was even more expensive, plus I wanted to appreciate the tour and learn about the place and so on.The guide at all times was very attentive and friendly, he knew a lot about nature and told us history about the place, so you can really enjoy the tour, there were animals in the place, the day was very good, there was no rain, even though I saw the opposite in the weather forecast. so I also enjoyed swimming in the river and having a good time. moment. Very good meals and transportation too. I recommend it

Very cool! I really liked the food, the breakfast in the typical restaurant is good, the lunch was very tasty but above all I liked the river, from the waterfall the guide knew how to answer all my questions with confidence and the water temperature is a bit cold but very Refreshing, it is very good to swim in the river, it is incredible, I also recommend this excursion to people who like hiking.

Great tour! Mario was a great guide, very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. Traffic kept us a few hours and he was so patient while traversing through it and driving! The tour was amazing from the food to the hike. Our favorite part was swimming in the Rio Celeste. It was a magical, once in a lifetime experience. Make sure to bring a reusable water bottle since they don’t allow plastic on your hike.

A long and very pleasant journey, the roads are very nice until we reach the national park, and also the river was completely blue, I am a hiking lover and this tour just met my expectations. Without a doubt I would recommend it and highly recommended with the guide Alejandro, who was at all times very attentive and respectful as well as professional and very intelligent.

It is a good tour, the volcano is quite impressive, the bubbles and the waterfall were my favorite part of the tour, the guide was good enough to explain everything in detail and without problems, also the water is refreshing, swim after the walk in the river Celeste is the best, the weather was great and the restaurant food was delicious. Recommended, I enjoyed with my wife and my 15 year old son and we were all satisfied.

This offered an "all inclusive" tour and made it sound unique and exclusive. But it was clearly not what was advertised. The biggest thing is that they offer "the only tour that offers you to swim in the Rio Celeste" but that swim was not available. According to the guide it was not due to weather - he had no idea what that was. This is essentially fraud to advertise something that is not part of the package. We paid a premium price for this booking and were not given what we paid for. Furthermore, it says Breakfast, snacks , coffee /tea and lunch are included. The breakfast was a cold cheese/egg/sausage muffin and a banana in a brown paper bag. There were no coffee or tea. The lunch was a basic casado from the restaurant at the property. The tour guide spoke very little english and was essentially an uber driver to the place and back. This was specifically chosen for the day of our 25th anniversary and we were sorely disappointed. You can plan this whole tri;p for around $40 - entry fee is $27 and lunch and a cold breakfast has to be about $15.

Also, I invite you to read carefully the product description, you will notice that swimming in the river is an added value and not an inclusion, because we can not guarantee that you will swim (due to weather conditions), in addition to this description everything you received . The guide, is not a simple driver, he is a trained person with a tourism license, who took his job seriously and did not risk your life by making a bad decision to let you go swimming in the river. You are upset about the weather conditions, but it is something that no one can control and safety comes first, in the end you are paying for a service and everything was delivered as promised, no one guarantees that the weather will be optimal.
