Ivuka Arts Center es un centro de arte y galería de arte ubicado en Kigali, la ciudad capital de Ruanda.
El sitio en la capital de Ruanda, Kigali, donde diez cascos azules belgas de la ONU fueron asesinados por extremistas hutu para provocar la retirada de las fuerzas de la ONU, lo que luego despejó el camino para que se desarrollara el genocidio ruandés a gran escala.
El Centro de Mujeres de Nyamirambo (NWC), una ONG ruandesa, fue inaugurado a fines de 2007 por 18 mujeres ruandesas que vivían en Nyamirambo, Kigali. Juntos crearon un proyecto que tenía como objetivo abordar la violencia de género, la desigualdad de género y la discriminación. Hoy, la misión de NWC es brindar educación y capacitación vocacional a mujeres que no tienen los medios para pagar dicha capacitación por sí mismas, para que puedan obtener mejores oportunidades de empleo.

El mercado de la ciudad de Kigali es un gran lugar para pasear. Our guide, Gloria was very knowledgeable. She did a great job telling us all about the city, we visited a woman’s center and got to stop and meet some of the women working. She had a wonderful sense of humor and kept us laughing all the way. Kigsli is a fascinating city.
