Conocemos dos de los museos más importantes de la Ciudad en un sólo recorrido. Mientras caminamos también nos adentramos en el bosque y aprendemos su historia. El guía es historiador, experto en el tema y gran conocedor del Bosque de Chapultepec.

Itinerario
El punto de reunión es frente al Museo de Arte Moderno, construcción del mismo arquitecto que el Museo Nacional de Antropología.
Subiremos al Castillo donde podemos apreciar distintas panorámicas de la Ciudad y el Bosque. El guía nos contará la historia de este edificio que existe desde el siglo XVIII, recorreremos sus salas para observar piezas de distintos períodos de la historia mexicana, los muebles originales del siglo XIX, la exquisita decoración con jardines, fuentes, escaleras de mármol y vitrales.
En nuestro camino al Museo Nacional de Antropología bordearemos el Lago de Chapultepec, espacio recreativo con renta de botes. En una de las orillas será posible ver La Casa del Lago, casona del siglo XIX. En el camino hay venta de agua, snacks, bancas para descanso, etc.
Entraremos a uno de los museos más importantes de México y a nivel Latinoamérica, donde se resguardan algunas de las piezas arqueológicas más significativas de las culturas prehispánicas. El guía nos llevará por las salas del museo para apreciar los elementos más importantes y tener un panorama general de estas antiguas civilizaciones. Conoceremos piezas como la Piedra del Sol (Calendario Azteca), el Atlante de Tula, la diosa del agua Chalchiuhtlicue, el Acróbata, la Máscara funeraria de Pakal; entre otros objetos como joyería, cerámica, tumbas, esculturas, ofrendas, el juego de pelota y mucho más.

Learned a lot. Tour guide knew a lot of information. Loved the castle. But loved all the different groups that were displayed in the tour.
Ricardo was a brilliant tour guide, not to mention a trained historian. He brought Chapultepec castle and the Anthropology museum to life for our small group. He also took an interest in our interests, invited questions and answered them all, and was always patient and kind. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Amazing, informative tour. Ricardo was funny, personable, and insanely knowledgeable about the places and cultures we explored in the museums - had the answer to every question our group had! Great way to pack in two CDMX highlights, though you'll definitely want to budget time to visit the exhibits in the Anthro museum we just couldn't possibly cover. Considering this tour includes tickets to both attractions (otherwise ~$12 USD per place, $24 total per person), it was an excellent value choice. My friend and I had a lot of fun!

This tour is really thorough and I’d recommend it if you like history. If you don’t and or have kids with you this is probably not the tour for you. It is quite a bit of walking, as is everything in CDMX, so prepare for that. The tour guide was really knowledgeable. He made sure we had bathroom breaks and a break for a quick lunch in the middle.
Ricardo was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient with the group. He knew so much about the Castillo and museum of anthropology, truly captured the essence of the history and culture of the two locations.
