I will never use trip advisor again. Got an email with a cryptic note saying they couldn’t provide tickets to the clock tower, but then kept getting reminders to arrive on time. Have not gotten a refund yet, and TripAdvisor says to contact the provider for the refund. Don’t recommend. Use get your guide- all wonderful experiences with them.
I really enjoyed this tour; the guide was very informative and explained everything so well! I have always wanted to see the clock tower and learn more about it so that’s one thing off my bucket list. Thank you!
I had a horrible experience. The clock tower was closed, and when I went to the meeting place, there was no one there from viator. I arrived at the meeting time.
Impossible! Don't book it. You'll just be disappointed. We were looking forward to it so much because, although we have been to Venice so many times and know our way around, we have never made it to Torre Dell Orologico. We were there much too early and waited patiently at the entrance of the Torre. Nothing happened and nobody came. Then we read at this entrance that the meeting place was at the Museo Correr. This was not on our ticket!!! So ran there (correr, ha, ha), although this is completely illogical. Why go there if you want to go to the Torre. Of course, there was no one in front of the Museo Correr. Great, this was a completely screwed up morning due to poor management and poor service on your part. I demand my money back. Actually, I'd have to claim damages for standing around for nothing, waiting for a long time, rushing to the Museo Correr, stress on vacation plus lost time on a short break. I cannot recommend your service at all.
No representative to meet us . St Marks Square has thousands of people. Instructions unclear Stood by clock entrance in the end for over an hour Tour did not take place
The excursion was very interesting and informative. I highly recommend. Not happy with the provider. Original time 12 PM was changed to 11 AM, and I wasn't notified. Please note that excursion entry point is Museo Correr, not Clock Tower.
Not only did the ticket never arrive but it cost 33% more than the real price.21€ vs. 14€. At this point thank goodness it ended badly so at least they refund me .. at least I hope
What a totally amazing, once-in-a-lifetime experience! The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging. We got to see Venice from a perspective that many people will never see. WARNING though, the meeting point is next to the Museo Corro ticket office, 15 minutes before the actual start time. Give yourself time to get though security AND the ticket office first.
This turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Venice... and by far the best value for money. In a small group of only 12 people you are taken on a tour of the Clock Tower. To have the chance to see the clock's workings and having it all explained along with the history was fascinating. Our host was extremely knowledgeable and brought the story to life. We were taken on the roof and got up close to the bell and ringers. The views from the top over the Basilica, Palace and square were amazing and we were given loads of time to take photos and admire the views. Fantastic visit and highly, highly recommended. If in Venice you should REALLY do this.
Cancelled by provider less tha 24 hours before. Very disappointed and was informed I had to request refund from Viator. Not happy
