Great tour. Specially if you like a small group of people verse a large crowd. Our tour guide Sylvia was very knowledgeable and professional.
It was a great experience. Maria our guide was informative and engaging.
The tour company DID NOT provide a guided tour of the Last Supper or the church as advertised. They simply purchased our tickets for us, gave us a brief description of the artwork, and sent us in on our own. They then told us the tour was over- they did not even address the church at all. The whole thing lasted less than 30 minutes. When we complained through Viator, we were granted only a small partial refund (33% of ticket price). A huge dis’s appointment for our family. Would not book this “tour.”
Yes, this tour takes place in Italy. Yes, we, as most Americans, do not speak Italian. So we opted for the tour with an English-speaking guide. While she was wonderful, personable, and had much to share about all the area history, the church, DaVinci and the painting, at times her Italian-accented English was nearly incomprehensible. The listening devices weren't perfect, especially outdoors when a breeze would create a 'wind-over-microphone' effect. "Grazie" for the tour - we loved it (especially the small group we had)! That being said, we would have gotten a lot more out of it with a better English-speaking guide.
Great tour of the Basilica de Santa Maria and the Last Supper! We had a small group - only 4 people. Sylva was very knowledgeable but also permitted us to have our own quiet time while in the refectory. I appreciate this! I admit I booked this tour because tickets to the last supper were sold out, but I'm glad I had a smaller group experience.
Please thank Fadia so much for the excellent presentation and tour of the Last Supper. It was an incredible experience. She was very knowledgeable and gave us insight and information that we wouldn’t have ordinarily expected. She was professional and helpful. We had a superb tour. Thank you
Wonderful, a must-see, the painting is spectacular.
Sarah is wonderful! Knowledgeable, fun, gracious. It was really worth it! We initially booked this tour because we couldn’t get regular tickets, and it was so much more than just access. She gave us an insightful and beneficial orientation to view the artwork that was not too long or overwhelming. Very accessible as we had a 12 year old with us too. I would absolutely book again even if we could have purchased regular access tickets. It made the viewing of the artwork so much more meaningful! Thank you Sarah!
Our guide was amazing! Lucia gave such great insight to the art and location. We would not have enjoyed it or understood it as much without her explanation.
The tour was really amazing. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Initially I was a bit hesitant to spend so much, but now when I think of it, I believe it was worth spending on a guided tour.
