Los Roques de García son formaciones rocosas emblemáticas situadas en el Parque Nacional del Teide (Tenerife), Patrimonio de la Humanidad. El Mirador de las Minas de San José, situado en el Parque Nacional del Teide (Tenerife), ofrece una espectacular vista panorámica de un paisaje desértico de pumita amarilla y blanca que simula la superficie de Marte. Esta antigua zona de extracción minera destaca por sus dunas de piedra pómez, lavas volcánicas y vistas a las cumbres de la caldera.
El Centro de Visitantes de El Portillo, ubicado en la zona norte del Parque Nacional del Teide, es un centro de interpretación gratuito que ofrece una visión integral de la geología, flora, fauna y etnografía del parque. Fue la primera capital de la isla y destaca por su trazado colonial sin murallas, arquitectura religiosa, calles coloridas y por ser el centro cultural y universitario de Canarias . Conserva numerosos edificios de los siglos XVI al XVIII.Patrimonio de la Humanidad (UNESCO): Se reconoce por ser el primer ejemplo de "ciudad-territorio" ideal sin fortificaciones, manteniendo su trazado original casi intacto.Centro Cultural y Universitario: Alberga la Universidad de La Laguna, el Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias y el Obispado de Tenerife, consolidándose como el núcleo intelectual de las islas. Arquitectura y Urbanismo: Destaca la Plaza del Adelantado, la Catedral de San Cristóbal (con elementos de hormigón y estilo neoclásico) y las casas señoriales con patios canarios y balcones.

We booked the Wine, History & Gastronomy Tour in a Local Guachinche for July 24 at 10:00 AM. After waiting, we had to contact the company three times before being told at 10:30 that our booking hadn’t been processed correctly. No proactive communication, and they only replied via WhatsApp. After rescheduling, we had to keep asking for confirmation and only received our guide’s details at 9:00 PM. Then, at 11:43 PM, GetYourGuide cancelled the tour because the guachinche was closed for summer hours. How was this unknown just two hours earlier? Extremely poor organization and communication.
FAMILY TOUR - July 14, 2026 We booked this excursion well in advance directly with the operator, choosing the private tour to Teide. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations, especially considering the cost of €360. The first issue was the delay: the hotel pickup was scheduled for 8:30 AM, but the guide only arrived at 9:00 AM. At the time of booking, I had also requested a guide who spoke Italian (we are Swiss - Italian-speaking part). If I hadn't contacted the operator myself the day before, I got the impression that no one would have noticed the request. I was then informed that an Italian-speaking guide was not available. Another date was proposed to me, but we were leaving on Thursday, so it was not a viable option. We therefore accepted a French-speaking guide, who, however, spoke almost exclusively in Spanish during the excursion. But that's fine. We understood each other. The vehicle also disappointed us: for a private tour at this price, we expected a more spacious and comfortable car. Instead, I traveled in the back seat with two children, definitely cramped. Furthermore, the tour turned out to be faster than expected. We did not visit all the points of interest indicated in the excursion description and we had the feeling that the guide was in a hurry. Once we arrived at Teide, after about 30 minutes he was already asking us where we were to leave again. The guide was nevertheless kind and nice, and this was one of the most positive aspects of the day, besides the fantastic view that is worth seeing. Overall, however, I believe that there is ample room for improvement in the organization and service offered. Considering the price paid, I would not choose this excursion again and, personally, I would not recommend it to those who expect a private experience with attention to detail.
Very happy!! Our guide, Mohammed, is the best. He explained everything very well, and the excursion was very entertaining. If we return to the island, we will repeat it!!

This private tour is a great way to see some of the best sites on Tenerife. Our walk through the historic center of La Laguna was a fun way to spend a Sunday morning. We later drove to Mount Tiebe volcano and enjoyed the spectacular views of the volcano. We had time to stop for a delicious local lunch at a restaurant outside the national park. I would highly recommend this tour.
