We had a wonderful half day touring the amazing nature of southern Mauritius. Our driver, Chucky, seemed nice at first. We advised him in advance that we would not be needing the Rhumerie de Chamarel and Valle Adventure Park part of the tour, as we're not into those things, and he said "ok, so we'll make it a short day". The tour itself was lovely and decently paced, but after the final itinerary, we asked Chucky to drop us of at a shopping mall near our hotel, instead of at the hotel. He immediately replied that "it will cost you more" for a 5-minute extraa drive and a day cut short by almost 3-hours. We said "no thank you" and immediately cancelled the tour we had booked with Chucky to northern Mauritius. All in all, we left the hotel at 10:30 and returned by 15:00. So much for a 7-hour day. Still, despite Chucky's unacceptable behavior, the nature of southern Mauritius must not be missed - just pick a different driver.

We had an amazing tour of southern Mauritius. The scenery stunning, and there was a great mix of nature, adventure, and local culture. Our driver was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was well organised, never felt rushed, and gave us a fantastic taste of the south of the island. We did not stay in the usual pick-up area however the company was very willing to accommodate us without any extra cost. We furthermore were allowed to rearrange the itinerary without any complaints. A huge thanks for that!

We had a fabulous day out with Beni as our guide. We visited a cashmere factory, a model boat factory, followed by Trou aux Cerfs Volcano, the Alexander water fall, Black river gorge, Grand Bassin and Chararmel Waterfalls and 7 coloured earth and saw the giant tortoises. All for £75 plus entrance fees to the Charamel Waterfalls which was about £13 each. The views from the top of the mountain were stunning and we learned a lot about the Hindu religion at Grand Bassin. I couldn’t recommend it enough.

We booked a private taxi tour of Mauritius South for our family of four, including two teenage boys, and it was an excellent experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable. The highlights were: the breathtaking waterfalls, sweeping panoramic views, and the strikingly colourful volcanic rock formations. We also appreciated the cultural stop at a beautiful Hindu temple, which gave us a glimpse into the island’s rich traditions. Our driver was professional, friendly, and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout. The car was spotless, air-conditioned, and spacious , all perfect for a family outing. We also enjoyed a relaxing stop for lunch, which added to the day. The teenagers loved the variety of sights, and we all came away with great memories. This tour is ideal for families who want to see the natural and cultural beauty of Mauritius in comfort. Highly recommended!
