Como parte de este tour visitarás muchos puntos destacados en un día : Centro comercial Caudan frente al mar, mercado de artesanía, ciudadela fuerte, SSR Jardín botánico, castillo de labordonais rhumerie donde hacemos ron con azúcar, playa Grand Baie que es la zona más turística de Mauricio, pereybere una playa muy hermosa y finalmente iglesia de techo rojo en cap malheureux.

Encaramado en la cima de la colina Petite Montague, el Fuerte de la Ciudadela se encuentra a una altura de 100 metros. También conocido como el Fuerte de Adelaida (llamado así por la esposa de Guillermo II, cuando los británicos tenían tierras en Port Louis), el fuerte ofrece impresionantes vistas del puerto, el hipódromo local (Champs de Mars) y toda la ciudad de Port Louis. .
El Jardín Botánico Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam (a veces abreviado como Jardín Botánico SSR), comúnmente conocido como el Jardín Botánico Pamplemousses, es una atracción turística popular en Pamplemousses, cerca de Port Louis, Mauricio, y el jardín botánico más antiguo del hemisferio sur. Famoso por su largo estanque de nenúfares gigantes (Victoria amazonica), el jardín fue construido por primera vez por Pierre Poivre (1719-1786) en 1770, y cubre un área de alrededor de 37 hectáreas. Además de sus nenúfares gigantes, el jardín también cuenta con especias, ébanos, cañas de azúcar y 85 variedades de palmeras de América Central, Asia, África y las islas alrededor del Océano Índico. Los líderes mundiales y la realeza han plantado muchos árboles, incluida la princesa Margarita, la condesa de Snowdon, Indira Gandhi, François Mitterrand y Robert Mugabe.

North Mauritius has beautiful beaches, a colonial house & rhumerie and the botanical garden.. all worth visiting!! Chucky was a great driver and guide .. we had a great day!
We had a good day with Mervin. The discovery of the capital and the north of the island is very interesting. Please note, the entrance fees for the garden and the castle are to be paid separately.
It was great tour with a lot of activities. The guide was very nice and showed us nice places. I recommend this tour.
We visited the Citadel and saw the horse racing track. We then went on to the Waterfront where we had some retail therapy. There are historical places to visit also. Finally we visited the Pampamousses Botanical Gardens and this was an hour spent in a luxurious natural paradise. Flora and fauna all around.
Great tour of the northern part of Mauritius! We got to see all the major sights and our guide Sailen provided interesting information throughout the trip.
Well worth the money for a full day of taxi rides to the sights. You can sort of tailor itinerary a bit if you want to. It was nice visiting the colonial house, The Domaine de Labourdonnais. It has been very well restored from wood mites and water damage. There was supposed to be a rum tasting tour included with our entry ticket but we were told on entry that it wouldn't be happening that day. We asked for an explanation but the lady didn't really give one. Our last stop was at the waterfront at Port Louis which is a mixture of shops and restaurants and nice to while away a couple of hour's. We left there at about half past 4 and unfortunately we were caught in traffic and it took us over 2hrs to get back to our hotel that should have been about 45 minutes away so beware of that.
Chucky was a great driver / guide. Arrival times and arrangements were communicated in advance so there were no concerns about getting in the wrong vehicle or approaching the wrong guide. He showed us how best to visit each of the stops and make the most of our time at each location. Driving was safe and the vehicle was in perfect condition. Recommended for anyone who wants to tour Mauritius!
Thanks to Asif for this beautiful day discovering the capital and its citadel, the beautiful Pamplemousses Garden, and the Domaine de Labourdonnais. We made several photo stops at Grand Baie, Perebeyre, Cap Malheureux.
We went out with Asif today. He was filled with a host of knowledge about his Island, answered all our questions with ease. Car was absolutely spotless with great working AC. He allowed us to alter the intinerary also We thoroughly enjoyed our day.😊Well worth it
