¡Ven y disfruta de una experiencia gastronómica única en la majestuosa ciudad de Aviñón! En el corazón de Provenza, Aviñón es sin duda una de las joyas más bellas del sur de Francia, con su excepcional centro histórico, su reconocido festival de teatro y, por supuesto, su deliciosa cocina provenzal : hierbas aromáticas, tomates, aceite de oliva, una buena copa de Costa del Ródano y fruta madurada al sol. Las posibles degustaciones pueden cambiar según la temporada y las disponibilidades de nuestros socios. Deje que nuestro experto en comida local lo acompañe por las calles históricas de esta magnífica "Ciudad de los Papas", deteniéndose en sus deliciosas tiendas, degustando vino del valle del Ródano y especialidades locales.
Dentro del mercado cubierto local, donde los lugareños hacen sus recados y compran ingredientes frescos para cocinar en casa, descubrirá los pilares de la cocina provenzal : aceite de oliva local y verduras frescas, utilizadas para preparar la famosa tapenade. Aquí también probarás una rodaja del famoso pissaladière, una sabrosa y jugosa tarta de cebolla con anchoas y aceitunas. Uno de los snacks más queridos de la ciudad (solo almuerzo)
¡En la cena, comenzará con un aperitivo provenzal clásico! Tomará una copa refrescante de vino local mientras se deleita con delicias como queso o pastas para untar, todo dependiendo de la disponibilidad de productos que llegan todos los días de los productores locales (solo para cenar).
Después de un paseo por la Rue de la République, una de las principales calles de la ciudad, siéntese en este hermoso restaurante local y pruebe uno de sus platos distintivos : el queso asado con miel. Esta combinación única de ingredientes te sorprenderá. Una verdadera necesidad durante su visita a Aviñón!
Place des Corps Saints es una plaza llena de historia que data de la época romana. Después de descubrir los secretos de este lugar, disfrutarás de una rebanada de pastel casero, hecho de ingredientes locales como fruta fresca. Una verdadera joya, querida por los lugareños, y la manera perfecta de continuar su recorrido en una nota dulce!
Provenza es bien conocida por sus ingredientes frescos, que se utilizan tanto para preparaciones saladas como dulces. En esta adorable boutique, probarás algunas de ellas, como miel, mermelada o galletas locales con sabor. Podrás degustar todas estas delicias en una boutique cerca del Pont d'Avignon, un puente que fue construido en el siglo XII y que todavía hoy ha conservado algunas partes de la construcción original. ¡Un auténtico retroceso a la Edad Media!

The guide was very nice and accommodating to our children. However, we were hoping for a lot more from the tour. We did not get any history of the city or the food we were eating. We just walked around without any description of anything and ate. We felt like we could have done this on our own and did not need a tour. It was not worth our time or money.

We had a wonderful time with Marina. She was warm hearted, passionate and open for any communication. She taught us about Avignon and the surrounding area and gave us good recommendations for us to explore. We loved all the stops especially where they’ve put a table in the middle of the hallway of the market We recommend the tour especially with Marina. Thanks a lot.
Our guide was so understanding. She explained some of the local nuances with food like olive oil in ice cream. I plan to try this at home now!!!! She went out of her way to find me a tea shop. She got our dessert to go when she realized we'd miss our train otherwise then went with us to the train station to be sure we were OK. She also explained the local festival going on. She was great. This is worth trying
Our guide Nastassja was well spoken, great English, knowledgeable, gracious and a wonderful host. She introduced us to great food that could replace any full meal. She even provided me with excellent medical skills for a freak accident that involved a person not in our group accidentally cutting my arm. Nothing serious at all, but her care (a bandaid and cleaning of the small cut) was amazing. Top notch experience for sure. 5-star!
Our guide Nastassja was friendly and very informative, an excellent guide.
We very much enjoyed our culinary tour with Nastassja. We visited four different restaurants/shops. The food was diverse and excellent. We also visited the food market. The food was plentiful and delicious. It seemed that Nastassja was going going over and beyond to provide us a memorable experience. We highly recommend the tour and we highly recommend Nasstassja.
This was a delightful afternoon tour! The food was amazing. Learning about Avignon, its restaurants and its food was exactly what we were looking for. Nastassja, our tour guide, made the tour as great as it was. Highly recommend for couples, families and solos. Today (the day after the tour) I plan to go shopping at several of the places we enjoyed during the tour. If you consider yourself a foodie, this is a must do tour and Nastassja is the guide I would ask for.
This was very underwhelming and certainly felt very shirt of the painted picture in the description. Definately not worth the money ... food did not reflect descriptions , and the wine was house wines were very average quality. Tour guide ok... but little info exchanged ....

Regarding the guide's commentary, our guide informed us after the tour that two members of your group spent a significant portion of the experience watching a football match on television rather than following the explanations being provided. While we completely understand that personal interests and unexpected events can sometimes be distracting, this may have limited the amount of information received and contributed to the impression that little information was exchanged during the tour. With regard to the wine selection, we would like to clarify that this is not a wine-focused tour. The wines served are intended to complement the food tastings and provide an authentic local experience, rather than showcase premium or specialty wines. Nevertheless, we appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration. We are also sorry to learn that the food did not meet your expectations. Our guide, Maryna, was lovely. Very knowledgeable about the history of Avignon and gave us many helpful recommendations to visit other towns in the Luberon. The food was interesting and diverse. Starting with a wonderful charcuterie followed by an olive oil tasting. Excellent lunch of baked Camembert and frites with wine and final stop for dessert of your choice. I would highly recommend the tour.
