We went on this tour with Marta who made us all feel extremely at ease. Her local knowledge was exceptional and her genuine passion for the City and for the food and drink made the tour particularly memorable.
A great experience to discover typical bars in Jerez. The tasting was very good and the service was very pleasant. It is a good outing.
Our guide Rose gave us an overview of why sherry is so important to the region and the types and varieties available. We enjoyed three tasting combinations in three local tabancos, and felt we were much more knowledgeable than we arrived. We also enjoyed a local flamenco show at the end of the tour.
The quide was excellent - very informative and friendly and managed a situation she should not have been placed in very well. Two of the establishments on the programme were closed - very bad planning by management
Dear Therese, We inform you that these 2 tabancos were closed due to the Horse Fair and we have not received any information about their special schedule. We regret to read your comment but our guide managed this situation with similar establishments with the same quality. Sorry for the inconvenience caused
I loved this tour, our guide Rosalba is a lovely girl and made our time a very special one. We really liked the wines and tapas in the traditional sherry tabancos.
Good tour with informative guide. Enjoyed the tapas, I'm not much of a drinker but my husband enjoyed the sherry
Very entertaining, especially after 19:00, when the heat decreases in September. Very friendly people, good local dishes, convenient prices. It has some tourist attractions such as the Cathedral, the Church of San Miguel, the Alcázar and the wineries of Vino Fino (sherry wine, Sherry). Highly recommended to spend a few days.
This was a very informative tour. Rosa was an excellent guide and explained about the history of sherry production in Jerez. We tried three different types of sherry with small tapas to accompany them. The only downside was that Rosa had to repeat everything in both Spanish and English which took away some of the time for questions.
We experienced an interesting, informative 2-hour tour with our very friendly, young tour guide Rosa with our small women's group of 7 people. We saw a small part of the very lively downtown on a Saturday afternoon where people of all ages meet, communicate, celebrate, shop and we now know all about sherry making and its history. At the end Rose led us to a bar where we could see a great flamenco performance. We can recommend the tour and especially Rosa without restriction.
Rose is professional and friendly making our tour both fun and very informative. We learned about the history of Jerez, the district and its influence on the food and culture. The final stop topped off the night with a sherry and tapas in a local flamenco bar. What a night. Thank you Rose
