We loved our trip to Newport; Lucia was a fantastic driver and guide and made the day really fun with her additional information, stories and tips. The bus was comfy and Lucia had water and snacks for us. The 2 Mansions we went inside were amazing - opulent and extravagant. We also really enjoyed our free time in Newport itself and followed Lucia's recommendedation to go to the Red Parrot for lunch. Also on her recommendation we visited the church where JFK got married and got to see inside. We had a brilliant day, it's been our 19 year old daughter's favourite thing of the holiday. Well worth the time and money.

Such an awesome day trip from Boston! Really enjoyed seeing all the mansions, exploring down town Newport, and everything in between. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience on the Newport Small Group Tour from Boston! Two days before the trip, I received a call with detailed information about exactly where we would meet, and everything went exactly as promised. We were greeted at the designated location right on time, given our itinerary, and from there, the entire day ran like clockwork. A few days earlier, I had taken a small-group tour to Maine that I thought was great—until I took this trip with Chris! Chris was training another guide on the day of our tour, so we essentially got a two-for-one experience when it came to the tour guides. Both were fantastic! From the historic buildings in Boston to the entire drive into Rhode Island, we learned interesting facts and stories about the landmarks along the way. The trip was incredibly well organized and completely seamless. Although the tour was about 11 hours long, it never felt overwhelming or too long. The time really flew by because there was always something interesting to see or learn about. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone staying in Boston who wants to take a day trip to Newport and experience the beautiful Rhode Island mansions. Chris and the team did an outstanding job!

We went August 11 and our tour guide was the best! The actual tour was great too. Enjoyed all the stops and the guide was very knowledgeable.

A day trip from Boston to Newport, RI, was amazing and ran smoothly under the guidance and expertise of our driver/guide, Chris. With the easy early hotel pickup, local informative narration and well stocked cooler and snacks (as well as frequent rest stops), he managed our busy well-timed itinerary throughout the day and got us all safely back to Boston on time. We were able to tour two Gilded Age mansions, drive thru many famous sections of the town as well as having a few hours to shop, lunch, or visit the spectacular Newport Harbor and all it has to offer. I would highly recommend this tour which does it all for you! Why drive when you can sit back and relax!? This was our third Viator tour, they’re the best!

An excellent full day tour. We saw several Masions, visited two and had a great time walking around Newport. Guide was enthisiastic and knowlegable.

Not that smooth a ride. Between the buses suspension and bumpy roads was glad to get off the bus. Other than that a very nice and informative day

glad we had time to check out downtown Newport. The mansions are gorgeous. Grateful for the stops in between Boston and Newport so we could use the restroom.
