Salida en carro o bus hacia e a un pueblo cercano para iniciar la caminata
Salida temprana: Iniciamos la aventura a las 4:00 a.m., cuando el lago aún duerme y el cielo comienza a transformarse. Un viaje de aproximadamente 45 minutos en bus o carro nos llevará hasta el punto de inicio de la caminata. Comenzaremos la caminata cerca de un lugar del Indian Nose. Desde allí, realizaremos una caminata de 30 a 45 minutos, rodeados de naturaleza, hasta llegar a la cima del Indian Nose. En la cima, disfrutará de un cielo iluminado en tonos dorados y anaranjados mientras el sol emerge entre los volcanes San Pedro, Tolimán y Atitlán. Tendrá tiempo para tomar fotografías espectaculares del lago y los pueblos que lo rodean. Todo en un ambiente tranquilo, lejos del ruido de la ciudad, ideal para relajarse y vivir una experiencia auténtica en Atitlán.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Punto de encuentro: Nos pondremos en comunicación con usted para coordinar el punto de recogida más accesible. Hoteles y alojamientos: Si su hospedaje se encuentra en el área designada de recogida, podemos llegar directamente a su hotel. De lo contrario, acordaremos un punto de encuentro cercano y fácil de localizar. Hora de recogida: Le confirmaremos el horario exacto de recogida un día antes del tour. Le pedimos estar listo con 15 minutos de anticipación para evitar retrasos. Recomendaciones: Traer calzado cómodo, agua, y estar atento al número de contacto que compartiremos para cualquier coordinación de último momento.

The sunrise hike was memorable! Chema is an exceptional guide who cares about the well-being of the participants. The hot chocolate and traditional bread served at the summit add to this unique experience which offers an exceptional view of Lake Atitlán and the volcanoes that surround it. I highly recommend it!
A very early morning but worth it. Our hotel is outside of the city, so we had to pay extra for pickup and drop off which was fine. The van was over capacity with other groups which made the ride a bit uncomfortable. Our guide was Chema; he checked on us throughout the hike and got us good seats for the sunrise. He also took our photos. Overall, it was a nice experience.
Chema is an excellent guide! I felt very safe and knowledgeable throughout the experience. It was worth having such a guide to go up and know the Mayan face. Thank you very much for the great experience!

The Sunrise Tour in Indian Nose was one of the highlights of my time in Lake Atitlan. The pickup was smooth and well-organized, and the guide communicated clearly the day before to confirm everything. After about a 45-minute ride, we began the hike. It’s moderately challenging but manageable if you have decent fitness. The reward at the top is unforgettable. Chema was my wonderful guide, he was friendly and patient, giving me plenty of time to enjoy the view and take pictures. The small group size made it feel personal and safe. If you’re visiting Lago Atitlan area, I really recommend doing this. It’s simple, beautiful, and one of those experiences you’ll remember long after your trip.

We are fit, experienced hikers, this was a very easy hike. Keep in mind that you are already at elevation, increasing elevation, so if you're accustomed to being closer to sea level, you should go slow and have frequent breaks. Chema will make sure you are breaking as much as you need. It is quite cold at the top, so to be comfortable, be sure to pack a warm hat and jacket, as you'll be sitting for a while watching the glory of a sunrise. You'll be offered hot cocoa or coffee and a roll. We were happy to pay for this excursion, as opposed to the many many other offers in San Pedro because it was just Chema, and the two of us. No others to wait for or keep up with.
This was an amazing experience! Chema (José) was a wonderful guide…kind, knowledgeable, patient, and a great photographer! Be aware that it is not a super easy hike…there are many stairs and it is high, but it is worth it!
