La aventura continúa en un acogedor café local, donde el aroma lo dice todo. La recompensa final: una degustación de café de altura, recién tostado y preparado. Saboree una exquisita taza, seleccionada a su gusto, y paladee la esencia misma de las tierras altas de Guatemala en cada sorbo. Vic gave a wondeful, informational, organized tour. He showed us the coffee plants and roasting, cacao demonstration, tastings of both. He also took us to a Maya women-owned textile shop with a hands on portion. Would highly recommend for a unique, efficient tour of San Juan.

We loved our tour with Victor. He is very knowledgable, sharing his family’s connection to the coffee in Lake Atitlan as well as connecting us with locals in other industries in Guatemala, giving us the opportunity to experience some of the culture of the lake. The demonstrations of weaving and chocolate making were wonderful to experience.
