¡No podemos esperar a verte pronto!

I loved my experience with Alaska Husky Adventures! Getting to meet and hand out with the dogs and see their unique summer carts made the summer sled dog experience so much more special. Sam was our musher, and it was great getting to hear about his experience out on the trail and learn more about what it’s like to run the iditarod. Dane was also fantastic, incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my many questions! As someone who hopes to work with sled dogs more in the future, this was such a meaningful experience and gave me an even greater appreciation for the sport, the dogs, and the people who dedicate their lives to them. A truly memorable experience that I would definitely recommend! 🐾🛷❄️
Definitely one of the most fun experiences we had on our Alaskan vacation…or any vacation! Dane and Sam are exceptional guides, providing a ton of info and answering all manner of questions from our group. They shared their first-hand knowledge of running in the Iditarod (amazing!), and lots of info about all that goes in to the care, feeding and training of these beautiful, strong and friendly animals. They clearly love the dogs for their distinct characteristics and talents! And they encouraged us to love on them too…which we did to the adults and naturally, also to the puppies! Of course, the most exciting part was the ride! These dogs are so smart and love their chance to run! It was crazy how they snapped to attention when they heard ‘ready’ and then patiently waited for the ‘alright’ command to charge forward!! We had an exhilarating fun, bumpy ride! A few other notes that made this excursion special: - each sled accommodates just two people (kids on lap) so felt more private than other offerors - Our group included a young child and the guides were attentive to him and ensured we knew how to ensure his safety. - The dogs have fun names! Be sure to ask how they name the litters! - Brutus! O-H!!
Friendly staff, knowledgeable owner. Great dogs and unique experience to be pulled. Loved interacting with the puppies. Highly recommend.
Lots of fun! Excellent in every way. Don't worry about getting your clothes dirty - they give you gear to put on over your clothes and shoes. Highly recommend!!!!
We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed interacting with the dogs. Matthew and his staff were extremely generous with their time. We would highly recommend this activity to others.
We had a wonderful time in our dog sledding adventure. Matthew and staff were attentive and informational. The dogs were so well kept and appeared to be happy and content. I would highly recommend this activity to others.
What an incredible experience! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire adventure so much fun. The dog sledding itself was an absolute blast, but getting to spend time with the dogs was definitely one of the highlights. You can tell how well cared for and loved the dogs are, and their energy and personalities made the experience even more special. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for something fun, unique, and memorable. We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again!
This is one of the most Family Friendly Tours I have ever been on. Dane did our tour and was more than willing to get our grandson up close and personal with the dogs! Matt, the owner of the tour, took the time to make sure everyone on the tour felt included and part of the "team". We were impressed that the dog yard was quiet, clean and well organized. We could tell the dogs are comfortable with people and love to have visitors. Everything about this tour says top notch, professional, and accommodating! If you want a real sled dog adventure, hosted by actual Iditarod mushers, coupled with an educational atmosphere. Give Alaskan Husky Adventures a call.
It was simply amazing. The guides are wonderful, the dogs are so incredible and the ride is all smiles. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Not the best smell of your life but I fell in love with all 50 plus dogs and to see them smiling at the chance to take you on an adventure was heartwarming. A perfect few hours spent.
It was a wonderful experience and in addition to summer dog sledding you get a tour of the area and learn a little bit about the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. You get to know each of the dogs and they have a great selection of souvenirs. Perfect for one person or an entire family.
