En este tour de un día completo, lo llevaremos a un impresionante templo fuera de lo común en la provincia de Chiang Mai, disfrutará de un viaje en barco por el embalse de Mae Ngat y visitará las impresionantes cascadas Sticky. Conducimos a través de tranquilos pueblos locales en medio de colinas cubiertas de jungla y pasamos por resplandecientes arrozales, exuberantes tierras agrícolas rurales y templos budistas locales. ¡Deje atrás la ajetreada ciudad y únase a nosotros en un emocionante día en la provincia!

Wat Ban Den, anteriormente conocido como Wat Ribunrueang, es uno de los templos más extraordinarios de Chiang Mai y también uno de los complejos de templos más grandes de la provincia de Chiang Mai. Cuando Wat Ban Den consiguió un nuevo abad en 1988, el templo estaba en malas condiciones. El nuevo abad recibió muchas donaciones de la población local y de budistas de todo el país. Con estas donaciones, el templo fue completamente renovado y se agregaron una serie de estructuras impresionantes. Aunque las estructuras del templo son relativamente nuevas, están construidas en un estilo arquitectónico tradicional. Podrá disfrutar de detalles del arte religioso histórico de Lanna, un Buda reclinado y budas sentados, y rendir homenaje a los 12 animales del zodíaco chino. Sin duda disfrutarás de la belleza, la serenidad y el pedazo de este maravilloso sitio. La duración total incluye el tiempo de viaje desde Chiang Mai hasta Wat Ban Den.
La presa y el embalse de Mae Ngat están ubicados en el lado occidental del Parque Nacional Si Lanna y ofrecen un escape tranquilo y pintoresco del ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad. La presa de Mae Ngat se construyó en la década de 1980 para proporcionar riego para la agricultura en la cuenca circundante de Mae Ngat. Desde entonces, este tranquilo santuario se ha vuelto muy popular entre los lugareños y viajeros de Chiang Mai que buscan escapar de la ciudad y adentrarse en la hermosa naturaleza del norte de Tailandia. El lago de serena belleza está rodeado de colinas y exuberante vegetación. Abordaremos un bote y disfrutaremos del hermoso y sereno lago desde el agua.
Aproximadamente a una hora de la ciudad de Chiang Mai se encuentran las cascadas de Bua Thong, también conocidas como Cascadas Pegajosas. En tailandés, llamadas Nam Phu Chet Si, las impresionantes cataratas de piedra caliza de varios niveles se encuentran en el Parque Nacional Si Lanna, un lugar tranquilo y relajante con bosques vírgenes. Lo que hace que estas cataratas sean únicas es que las rocas son pegajosas y fáciles de escalar. Alimentados por manantiales ricos en calcio, los depósitos minerales se han ido acumulando durante muchos años para formar lo que ahora es una formación en cascada sobre la que no es resbaladizo caminar. Hay tanto agarre en las rocas que puedes caminar fácilmente hasta las cataratas. Esta cascada es única y un lugar popular para relajarse.
También hacemos una parada en el Mercado Chedi Mae Krua. Este mercado no es en absoluto una atracción turística, sino un auténtico mercado local. Una parada interesante para que los turistas vean la vida cotidiana y sencilla de la gente de esta zona. Dé un paseo por el mercado y hágase una idea de la vida tailandesa fuera de la ciudad. Luego llegará el momento de regresar a Chiang Mai donde os dejaremos en el punto de encuentro o en vuestro hotel. La duración total incluye el tiempo de viaje desde el mercado Chedi Mae Krua hasta Chiang Mai.

Small group, very friendly and knowledgeable guide, very pleasant experience. Beyond the obvious highlight of climbing the sticky waterfall (Bua Tong), I also loved the calm and relaxing boat trip as well as seeing a local fruit market.

This tour is so much fun and what really makes this tour amazing is because we had the best tour guide of Thailand. Saman is so wonderful, thoughtful, polite and respectful of our time and space. The sticky waterfalls is our favorite thing to do and we wish we had gone to the very bottom of the falls before we walked up. The hike up was very easy and super fun.

Brilliant day. 4 or 5 stops during the course of the day. Our tour Guide Tik was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to help with anything we needed. Highlights of the day was the boat ride on the Dam, Followed by the sticky waterfall.

Amazing day trip - food market, temples, boat trip and sticky waterfall First stop seeing all the fresh food. Next we stopped at the most amazing temples we have seen. Our guide, Tik, was brilliant with his details of the temples and the history behind varied Buddha’s. Next to Srilanna Dam where we took a boat up the river to see the floating hotel and other accommodation. Amazing beauty all around. Finally the Sticky Waterfalls where you walk/climb using ropes. Not for the faint hearted, but we all really enjoyed it (age range 56-64) A fantastic day and worth the money, but mostly it was made so good by Tik.

This was supposed to be a group tour, but we were the only guests, so we effectively had a private one. Our tour guide was very informative and keen on answering our questions. We had fun at the waterfall, visited a local market where we were the only tourists and had a good time at the blue temple and during the boat tour.

Excellent trip out for the day, transport was brilliant in an very clean & tidy mini bus. Saman (our guide) was very friendly & knowledgeable & took time to explain local customs and there way of life, done in a factual hands on personal way. A trip to local market turned out to be surprisingly informative with various ingredients sampled, the visit to the temple complex was relaxed with plenty of time to admire the site, all the time being politely informed of what the culture meant to the local area. Then onto the boat with some scenic views around the reservoir, followed by lunch,(the happy room had a brilliant view), before arriving at the waterfall. Once again Saman was full of information which added to the experience, and many thanks for assisting the other half up the waterfall & giving us both an experience neither of us will forget. Very good day out made memorable & personal by our guide . Thanks again.
