Santa Sofía; Hagia Sophia, que significa Sabiduría Divina, era el edificio más grande del mundo salvo las pirámides de Egipto o la Gran Muralla China. La actual iglesia de Santa Sofía fue construida por el emperador Justiniano en el 537 d.C. Fue el centro religioso de la ciudad durante el período bizantino. Fue utilizada como iglesia durante 916 años y como mezquita durante 481 años. En 1934, por orden de Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, se convirtió en museo y desde entonces ha estado abierta a los visitantes.
Palacio de Topkapi; Además de ser la residencia imperial del sultán, el palacio también fue la sede del gobierno del imperio otomano. Albergó a los sultanes otomanos durante casi 400 años hasta que se construyó el palacio Dolmabahçe. En 1924 se convirtió en museo. Hoy en día es famoso con secciones de harén, tesorería real y reliquias sagradas.
Construido por el sultán otomano Ahmet I en el año 1616, se encuentra frente a Hagia Sophia. La mezquita azul de hoy es uno de los monumentos más famosos de la ciudad vieja con sus famosos seis minaretes y su magnífica cúpula. Aunque oficialmente se llama Mezquita de Sultanahmet, los visitantes le dieron el (nıck) nombre Mezquita Azul debido a los increíbles azulejos azules que decoran las paredes interiores.
Con 18 entradas y más de 4000 tiendas, es uno de los bazares más grandes del mundo. Fue construido entre 1455-1461 por el sultán Mehmet el Conquistador. Hoy en día, las tiendas que venden el mismo tipo de mercadería tienden a congregarse en sus propias calles o posadas, como lo era el sistema otomano original.
Construido por el emperador romano Septimus Severus en 203 d.C., durante el período romano, el hipódromo fue el centro civil para la gente de la ciudad donde una vez se podían albergar 100.000 espectadores. Ubicado en el corazón de Sultanahmet, rodeado por la Mezquita Azul, Santa Sofía y el palacio de Topkapi, hoy alberga el Obelisco Egipcio (Dikilitaş), la Columna Serpentina (Burma sütun), la Columna de Constantino y la Fuente Alemana.

I found it to be a comprehensive introductory tour of historical Istanbul. We were able to skip the line on the sights. Was very delighted with the history lesson from our guide, Barish. He was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
Should not have booked this trip during Eid. It was extremely crowded & did not get the full tour experience Grand Bazaar (part of the tour) was closed. Lunch was not included even though it says it was in the tour. So you pay for your lunch. Felt rushed & didn’t see everything at the Topkapi Palace as it was so crowded Guide left to take some of the people back to the bus & left a few of us to continue the tour on our own at the Topkapi Palace (last part of the tour)
I recommend this Enterprise, we really enjoyed the visit to these beautiful places together with our guide and driver Riza and Okan, very friendly, explained every detail of the ancient city.

Excellent and very well organised tour from the start to the finish. The guides were excellent and provided great commentary on the history of the area. The guides also gave us the choice to go to some shops along the way, which we did out of interest, but no pushy sales pitch, or pressure to go. However, I was glad we did go as the information we were given was very helpful for shopping throughout Turkey even if you didn't buy anything at their shop. The accommodation and van we travelled in was comfortable.

Very happy with our tour guide Riza and driver Burak. The tour was informative and beautiful. We had a nice lunch buffet as well. All facilities taken were very clean and adequate toilet breaks. Highly recommended for this tour. Pamukale is a must see destination. From Stewart and Lisa

We haven't had such a good tour in a long time! We were guided as well as if we had gone through history again for the first time, just fabulous the tour guide! Was lucky enough to discover the grandiosity of Ephesus with our tour guide, Gonca! Let me just say this, if you're planning to go to Ephesus do try and get a tour with her! We have joined the Kusadasi tour Company for 2 days to Pamukkale & Ephesus with our driver (Mr Hakan) and 2 tour guides (Mr Riza & Mrs Gonza). We had a really wonderful trip, where we were brought to a really nice place with amazing views and price are reasonable. The tour guides are friendly and speaks good english. The driver takes care of us vey well.
