You can pick your wine locations if you know where you would like to go. It was our first time in San Diego and didn’t know what was available but our guide was quick to jump in.
This was such a fun way to experience La Jolla- so much wine and a really great guides. Riding in a sidecar is a hoot!
If you're looking to be disappointed, this is the activity for you! Like most of the 1 star reviews, my party was left stranded outside the hotel waiting on a sidecar that was never coming. The company is unreachable by phone, and the folks who run their email make Forest Gump look like a mathematician. I've been going back and forth with them for weeks about a refund they claim was being processed through Trip Advisor, although I find it hard to believe they're capable of processing anything. I finally called TA myself and got it sorted out in under 10 minutes. Unless you enjoy working with unorganized, unprofessional, peanuts-for-brains morons, I would recommend booking something else
We showed up to meet up spot 15 min early and waited 30 min past expected time. They never showed up for our confirmed tour, and when I called, I received no answer. We ended up leaving with no tour in hopes for a full refund as it was paid in full.
Views were awesome. Jon our chauffeur was awesome. Very knowledgeable of the area and was a great hang. Sidecars great way to see the city up close.
This was fantastic, being a rider in the past, feeling the wind in your face brought back all of the passion from the past.
We had a great time. Steve was a fantastic guide who made the tour fun and informative. He knew a lot of unique Sand Diego facts and the time flew by. Really fun experience!
What a great way to see the sites of San Diego and taste some wine too. There were four of us and two motorbikes which worked great. Our guides were great and showed us the main highlights of San Diego. Then we stopped at a lovely local spot to have a flight of wine on the roof top patio. At the end we were treated to charcuterie and more wine. The hotel graciously packed up what we couldn’t eat and the bottle we couldn’t drink and we took it back to our condo for later. The only note for improvement would be spending more time talking about the sights when stopped, as while in transit, the person in the back of the side car can’t hear what the guide is sharing while driving. Otherwise- a fun experience!
To be honest we felt the tour was misrepresented as a wine tasting tour. It was more of a sidecar tour of the city with 1 stop for wine tasting vs the 3 that was indicated on your site. Last stop was at a hotel that gave you $11 bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers. We did enjoy the one stop at Pali Wine Co in the Little Italy section of downtown San Diego. Not a true wine tasting tour to say the least. Our tour guide was very kind but not very knowlegeable on the history of the city. We actually shared our knowledge of the city we learned the day prior on "Hop on Hop off Bus tour". Disappointing Viator!!
We had such a wonderful experience. Such a unique way so see San Diego. Thank you for a memorable time!
