En solo 10 minutos, dejarás la bahía atrás y estarás en el Pacífico abierto, buscando ballenas, delfines y otra fascinante vida marina. South Mission Bay Park se encuentra en el extremo sur de la península de Mission Beach en San Diego, justo donde el océano se encuentra con el canal de la bahía. La caminata frente al océano comienza en la bahía de South Mission y corre hacia el norte / arriba de la península para montar en bicicleta, trotar o caminar. Los fogones hacen de este un buen lugar para una hoguera por la noche en la playa.
Después de zarpar de Mission Bay, se dirigirá hacia el océano Pacífico abierto. En solo 10 minutos, pasarás por los embarcaderos y disfrutarás de una vista panorámica de la famosa Dog Beach de Ocean Beach y el emblemático muelle de Ocean Beach antes de aventurarte en las vastas aguas azules.

Didn’t see whales but the dolphins were amazing. The crew is pretty helpful but be sure to take motion sickness meds.
It was a nice boat trip saw a couple of dolphins which was neat but a 21 hour drive to go on this one not sure it was worth it

It was a great trip. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We saw whales and dolphins and lots of sea lions

This whale and dolphin watching tour was fantastic from start to finish! The crew members were friendly and informative. Our naturalist guide on the microphone kept us informed and alert for sightings. As we started our cruise, we saw a sea lion, a seal, and lots of birds hanging out hoping for a snack from the bait barge. Our next encounter was a pod of about 50 bottle nose dolphins swimming alongside the boat. It was amazing to see them up close! The highlight of the evening was when we crossed paths with a stampede of common dolphins! They swam alongside us, breached, and even jumped into the air. There must have been 300-400 or more! Finally, as we were headed back to shore, we saw a beautiful sunset with a rare green flash! It was the perfect way to end our anniversary trip to San Diego. The boat was clean and well maintained. The restrooms (heads) were also very clean. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. 10 out of 10 — no notes! I would definitely take this cruise again.

It was a great! We got to see a lot of beautiful dolphins. Unfortunately the whales were no where to be found but we had a fantastic guide and crew!
Highly recommend this trip! Crew was awesome! Sights were great on the sunset tour. Definitely bring a jacket and/or blanket for cooler temperature and sea spray.
