Calle Umbrella Una calle colorida y fotoperfecta decorada con sombrillas colgantes que crean un ambiente divertido y vibrante. Disfrute de un corto paseo, tome excelentes fotos y absorba el ambiente animado del centro de Puerto Plata.
Calle Rosa (Paseo Doña Blanca) Uno de los spots fotográficos más emblemáticos de Puerto Plata, conocido por sus paredes de color rosa brillante y detalles encantadores. Es una parada rápida para pasear, tomar fotos en grupo y capturar el estilo caribeño único de la ciudad.
Museo de Ámbar de Joyería Fifi es uno de los lugares más visitados de Puerto Plata. En su interior, alberga una de las mayores exposiciones de resina de la República Dominicana. El país cuenta con los yacimientos de ámbar más importantes del mundo; además, los colores azul, verde o miel cálido son únicos en esta zona debido a su actividad volcánica. Aquí podrás descubrir la historia de esta piedra preciosa de origen vegetal. Una de las piedras más importantes de este museo es un lagarto de 40 cm conservado dentro de un trozo de ámbar. Esta resina puede contener fósiles prehistóricos de plantas y animalitos en su interior debido a su naturaleza pegajosa, que convierte a esta piedra en objeto de estudio. Se dice que Steven Spielberg se inspiró en este museo cuando estaba trabajando en su famosa película Parque Jurásico.
Centro histórico Explora el centro de Puerto Plata con lugares destacados como el Parque de la Independencia y la Catedral, mientras tu guía comparte historias sobre el pasado y las tradiciones de la ciudad.
Visite Vinícola del Norte, una de las destilerías y productores de bebidas más históricos de la República Dominicana, fundada en Puerto Plata en 1962. Had a really good time on this tour. Alex was amazing. He was very personable and took us to some very nice spots. The ride was comfortable and air-conditioned. Not sure how often this happens, but it was also a private tour (just me and my partner). Either no one else booked our time slot or they just have a lot of drivers for the tours? Alex also took pictures for us whenever we wanted him to. He gave us tips about which souvenir shops to purchase things from where the items aren't overpriced. I would recommend this tour.

If this is your first time to the port of Puerto Plata, The city tour top sights is an excellent way to see all that Puerto Plata has to offer, including dining, shopping, and sightseeing. Our tour guide, Elvin, took us to additional spots that we requested to see and gave us history and insights of each location. He also made sure pictures were taken so that we could keep and share our memories..

There is a lot of walking on this tour. We showed up early and our tour guide, Elvis, took us around early as well. The cathedral was closed the day we went so we could only take pictures of the outside. Saw a lot in the time alloted.

They never showed up to pick us up . There was a police officer trying to help us and he said the number was disconnected. I expect a refund

We had a great tour. Danny was very knowledgeable. Our tour was in an air conditioned van with a group of 4 other people from our cruise. The pick up spot was a little confusing but everyone helped guide us there. You have to walk outside the port gates to the street which was a bit of a walk. Besides everything in the description our tour guide took us to a local lookout outside bar with amazing views of the ocean and city where we had a beer and empanadas. Nice tour!

Major disappointment. We I guess came into the wrong port at amber cove and no one there had a clue about this super buggie company was. We waited an hour and finally someone came. We had a taxi guy who was wonderful. His name was Candido and he really did his best to show us around. I'm not sure we did all the tour stated but seriously this island is NOT that big and you should have someone at both ports and provide some guidance. Viator really needs to check out the local companies first!!!

They were very patient, but be sure to wear walking shoes. The pickup point is a ways from the port, but the drivers are really nice.
