Descripción
Pase por senderos sólo accesibles en jeep para acceder a las vistas más exclusivas, únicas, maravillosas e impresionantes de la isla de S.Miguel en compañía de un guía local certificado. Saliendo de Ponta Delgada, nos dirigimos hacia el volcán Sete Cidades, donde haremos varias paradas, concretamente Pico do Carco, donde podremos ver el mar en los extremos norte y sur de la isla. A continuación pasaremos por un acueducto que data del siglo XIX, donde podremos apreciar su magnífica construcción. Luego, comenzamos nuestra aventura por un camino de tierra que rodea la cima de la caldera, que puede estar a una altitud de 856 m. Aquí podrás disfrutar de la belleza de la caldera volcánica de Sete Cidades y visitar la parroquia ubicada entre ellas.

Saliendo de Ponta Delgada, nos dirigimos hacia el volcán Sete Cidades, donde haremos varias paradas, concretamente Pico do Carco, donde podremos ver el mar en los extremos norte y sur de la isla.

Deténgase en el pueblo de Sete Cidades, cerca de la iglesia o del lago, para dar un agradable paseo y tomar una copa en una de las 7 maravillas naturales de Portugal.
Uno de los miradores más emblemáticos de la isla de São Miguel. Fantástica vista de las lagunas Verde y Azul.

Filipe was incredibly knowledgeable, fun, and has a genuine love for the Azures that shows. We were so lucky to get a guide that grew upon the island, is incredibly intelligent and knows every beautiful spot to stop and all the great places to eat. Not only did he provide a spectacular tour, but he dropped us at a great dinner spot and filled us with lots of wonderful memories of the day. Highly recommend!
We had a great day with Andre. The island is beautiful. The jeep was alot of fun, luckily Andre is a great driver. Our cruise was delayed getting into port, and Filipe was so nice and accommodating to pick us up at a different time. I highly recommend this company and tour.
We had a fabulous full day tour with Filipe with Azores by Locals. He is a lifetime native and really gave us an excellent experience. We took the jeep ride along the rim of the craters of Sete Cidades and the hydrangeas were outstanding. We ate lunch at one of the popular local restaurants with their famous octopus. Also toured the pineapple farm and had delicious pineapple treats. Filipe even took pictures of us during the tour with his personal camera and sent them to us after the tour.

It was out arrival day and still jet lagged we had the afternoon tour with Filipe. Punctual, knowledgeable and holy great driver around the crazy crater road! Made day 1 a great experience.
Felipe was so knowledgeable of his island. He was switched on to our interests and needs for the excursion. He related stories and anecdotes of his experiences as well as historical and geological facts of the area without going overboard. He read the changing weather and adjusted the itinerary accordingly. Driving the rim of the volcanic lake on the narrow track, we always felt safe. We had a great day thanks to him.
