Vasileios was fantastic! We had so much fun exploring the city with him while he took pictures. A great experience and fantastic photos to remember our time.

Photographer was very professional and friendly. I was not expecting to get so many locations and shots within an hour but he did.

Our photographer was great, knew all the good locations, and got to know us enough that we were comfortable during the photo shoot. We had a number of great photos to choose from.

We booked this experience because it was marketed as a personalized, cinematic photoshoot where you get to feel like the “main character” in your own story. Unfortunately, our experience felt very different. The consultation was presented as an opportunity to plan and customize the experience, but it felt largely focused on explaining a predetermined process and logistics. As a mother and daughter traveling together, we expected more interest in who we were, what inspired us to book, and how the shoot could be tailored to our relationship and trip. Instead, it felt more like a plug-and-play package than a collaborative creative experience. We shared ideas we were excited about, including private or interior locations, adjusting the early start time, and creating something that felt unique to us. While these ideas were acknowledged during the call, none of them were addressed in the follow-up information, and there didn’t seem to be much effort to explore alternatives. One of the photos that inspired us most to book was a staircase image that we later learned is one of the company’s most requested shots. However, we were told that location is no longer available, and no comparable alternatives were suggested. We found that disappointing and somewhat misleading, especially since that image played a significant role in our decision to book. What ultimately led us to cancel was the realization that the experience appeared far more standardized than we expected. Without wardrobe, styling, creative development, or meaningful collaboration included, it became difficult for us to understand what distinguished the experience from a traditional vacation photoshoot. We were also disappointed by the company’s response after we decided to cancel. Rather than engaging with our concerns, the response felt dismissive and reinforced the feeling that we were simply moving through a process rather than being treated as valued clients. Others may have a different experience, but for us, the reality did not match the personalized, story-driven experience we believed we were signing up for.

Vasileios was absolutely amazing! He was early to the location, able to position us in the heart of the city to capture the best views, with tons of locations in the hour we had! He originally said photos would be 5-7 days and we had the link within 24 hours! And they look amazing! I cannot recommend him enough! He was amazing!

We had an awesome experience! Edinburgh is a magical place to take family pictures and he was most accommodating and relaxed. He wanted to make sure we also captured our high school senior perfectly. We lived it! Great way to really see the sights with a wonderful album as well! Can’t recommend it enough.

This experience captured me enjoying the magic of Scotland in such a beautiful way!!! If your partner/friends take terrible photos of you or you’re solo this is the best experience! Vasileios was a truly gifted photographer and he took to places I didn’t know about and would have never seen so it was like a mini tour of Scotland as welll and I have iconic photos as well!! Best money spent!!!

We had an incredible experience with Pictrip for our proposal/engagement photos in Edinburgh. From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and well organized, which made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. Our photographer, Vasileios, was phenomenal. He was friendly, calm, and knew exactly how to use the scenery and lighting to capture natural, authentic moments without making anything feel staged or awkward. He blended into the moment perfectly so the proposal still felt genuine while every important detail was beautifully captured. The photo quality exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with the final images. Don't book on a holiday, our photographer never showed! We booked for 12/25/25 at 10am and waited until 10:15am at the meet spot. Sent 4 messages through viator to the photographer with no response. They sent a message in WhatsApp asking for more info for our session after the fact. I would not recommend booking for a holiday. You might book and pay, but in our experience we had no photoshoot. Still haven't gotten a refund from viator yet, they asked us to request a refund from the photographer. In my opinion, I booked with viator so they should put up the $ to refund us immediately if the experience didn't happen.
