Por favor, permítanos presentarnos: somos Inés y Juanjo, 2 auténticos guías nativos en Gran Canaria. Con nosotros descubrirás y experimentarás la belleza de esta isla con verdaderos "ojos locales". Para nosotros, el Barranco de los Cernícalos, no es sólo una de las rutas de senderismo más bonitas de la isla: es una parte muy importante de nuestra propia vida, ya que aquí han vivido nuestros familiares y para nosotros es como un "patio de juegos". Realizaremos una caminata donde descubrirás nuestra flora y fauna endémica en un entorno que parece sacado de un cuento de hadas. Con nosotros no sólo aprenderás "información técnica", sino también cómo la gente local ha ido viviendo y adaptando su forma de vida en este lugar, entenderás cómo se explotaban los recursos de esta zona: agua, materiales para crear herramientas. , plantas (más allá de su uso medicinal). Pero, sobre todo, lo pasaréis genial. Te esperan muchas sorpresas y diversión en el camino. ¿Estás listo para la aventura?

Friendly local guides lead you trough a jungle like area up to a waterfall, entertaining and filled with interesting stories about the island, inhabitants and the local nature. Rather easy hike for hikers, but not a sunday stroll ( bring your hiking shoes). Transport from and back to hotel included.

Entertaining and knowledgeable guides who safely piloted us through lush rainforest and over steep mountains. Smooth pick-up and drop-off. Fun to experience a more unknown part of beautiful Gran Canaria. Recommended!

This was a special tour, with great energy, and a fun story was told that included you. The small group concept is great, and I’m really glad there were no commercial stops at all! If you are an avid naturalist then perhaps the level of detail could have been greater. For me this was more a positive than a negative.

Great tour with two local, very experienced, friendly and funny guides. You will learn about some of Gran Canarias history, vegetation and animals with the waterfalls as highlights.

This tour was THE highlight of my 5 day visit to Gran Canaria! Ines and Juanjo have created something quite magical with their tour; a great combination of natural and cultural history with a mischievous sense of quirky silliness that was really enjoyed. The hike itself was beautiful and the plants; flowers and waterfalls breath-taking. I felt super relaxed after this experience even though we had trekked 8km. If I return to Gran Carnaria, I will definitely be booking another of their tours! Can't recommend this experience enough! Gracias!
