El enólogo de Avantis Estate, el Sr. Apostolos Mountrichas, se enamoró de Santorini y de la fuerte personalidad de Assyrtiko y comenzó su proyecto Santorini en 2012. Completó su proyecto en 2021 al fundar Anhydrous Winery. Su filosofía se basa en la experimentación con técnicas ancestrales de elaboración del vino que producen vinos modernos con pureza y características varietales primarias.

The wine guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and made the overall experience worth every dollar. All of the wineries were beautiful and the people were amazing! Definitely put this on your itinerary.

We visited stunning wineries, learned about Santorini’s unique wine culture, and tasted some incredible local wines. The views, the stories, and the flavors were all unforgettable. Hailey and I got married in Santorini this past week. We decided to book a private wine tour to learn more about the way wine is made and the different types of wine. Billy was our driver. Billy made our experience so fun that we never wanted it to end. Ever winery was so inviting and professional. We would 10/10 recommend this experience.

The tour was very informative, we tasted a wide selection of wines and beers and some tasty snacks throughout. We were also really lucky that the other two couples on the tour were also on their honeymoon so it was a really lovely afternoon/ evening.
