Comience su experiencia cultural en el pueblo de Pyrgos, el pueblo más antiguo de Santorini, conocido como el "monumento histórico" de la isla. Construido en la cima de una colina, este asentamiento alberga un castillo veneciano del siglo XVI. Un lugar encantador para pasear, construido por los lugareños para fortificar el área en pequeños callejones y caminos en forma de círculo. El pueblo está rodeado de viñedos, iglesias con cúpulas azules, estrechas casas cueva con encantadores balcones y caminos de guijarros.

Pasajeros de Cruceros : El punto de recogida primario se encuentra en la salida superior del teleférico, donde su Guía / Conductor estará esperando con un cartel que muestre su nombre. Alternativamente, la recogida se puede organizar en el puerto de Athinios o el puerto de Amoudi, siempre que los viajeros organicen un taxi acuático a sus expensas. Airport & Ferry-Boat Travelers : La recogida es en la terminal de llegadas, donde su Guía / Conductor estará sosteniendo un cartel con su nombre.

We did the Private Santorini Sightseeing and Cultural Villages Tour this morning with Mike and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good one-on-one guided tour. Mike was very knowledgeable, raised family on the island. When I booked, goal was ruins at Akrotiri, and visiting the Prehistoric Museum the prior day was helpful because those exhibits gave much perspective when trying to visualize the ruins themselves. The surprise was, I had forgotten when booking, that this private tour visited several historical villages Castle of Pyrgos Kalilstis, Cave House and Megalochori, Venetian Castle of Emporio, Vista over Caldera Beach. The quaint villages, narrow walking paths, historical houses, and amazing orthodox churches….guide was very knowledgeable…nothing like it I’ve ever seen. Only recommendation I would like to see is that the guide continue to give a guided tour within Akrotiri ruins itself, but maybe facility restriction, although we did observe guides leading both small and large groups through the ruins.
