Really great experience with Tunco Life, our guide Salvo was super friendly and really knowledgeable. He shared a lot about not just the area, wildlife and volcano, but also about the history of El Salvador and really added a lot to the hike itself. The Santa Ana volcano is stunning and well worth the trip from El Zonte. Highly recommend. The lunch spot was gorgeous too, amazing view!

It’s intense but worth the view! Our tour guide Chamba was great. Take water and something to snack on. Take breaks, wear comfy shoes, take lots of pictures and a walking stick.

I had an amazing trip with Chamba from Tunco Life!! I highly recommend his trips! He was very nice, accommodating, and a great + safe driver. The early start to the hike was perfect to beat the crowds, and the volcano was beautiful! We also enjoyed a beautiful lunch at The Crater afterwards with views of lake Coatepeque. This was such a fun and memorable hike! Chamba is an awesome tour guide. He explained a lot about the volcano, led us safely through the hike in a timely manner, and made sure everyone in the group felt included and comfortable.
